DESIGN AND PROTOTYPING OF A HIGH-PRECISION
HYBRID MECHATRONIC POSITIONING SYSTEM
Abstract: This paper presents the design of a hybrid mechatronic
positioning system comprising two functional stages: a coarse
positioning module driven by servomotors and a fine positioning unit
utilizing flexible hinges and piezoelectric actuators. The study is
organized into three chapters covering the mechanical design, numerical
simulation, and prototype development.
