COMPLIANT POZITIONING SYSTEM FOR PRECISION
MICROSCOPES
Abstract: This paper presents the design of a compliant positioning
system driven by piezoelectric actuators, integrated into a high-precision
microscope. The paper is organized into seven chapters, with emphasis on the
design of three constructive variants and on the finite element analysis performed
for two different materials. Finally, a prototype was fabricated by 3D printing.

positioning system comprising two functional stages: a coarse
positioning module driven by servomotors and a fine positioning unit
utilizing flexible hinges and piezoelectric actuators. The study is
organized into three chapters covering the mechanical design, numerical
simulation, and prototype development.

Abstract: This paper presents various designs for a wiper system
composed of two main modules: one for positioning and the other a
compliant wiper. It introduces three distinct designs for the compliant
wipers, which were subjected to finite element analysis, resulting in
varied outcomes. Additionally, these design variants were fabricated
using 3D printing technology.

Abstract: The automotive industry during the last the years has
improved most of the whole components. An important component for a vehicle
is the tire, and for this the researchers and the companies started to develop a
new type – tires which function without air. In this paper it is presented a study
about compliant tire without air, but also a prototype for the model.

C4 – SISTEM MECATRONIC PENTRU POZIȚIONARE PRECISĂ CU MECANISME COMPLIANTE

Abstract: In this paper, a mechatronic positioning system has
been designed, consisting of two distinct modules: one for coarse
positioning, driven by servomotors, and another for precise positioning
with flexible hinges, actuated by piezoelectric actuators. The paper is
structured into three chapters that cover the design, simulation and the
interpretation of the results obtained using finite element analysis.

ROBOTIC EXOSKELETON FOR UPPER LIMB REHABILITATION
Based on upper limb structure and its model – presented in the first part of the paper – o short overview on rehabilitation robotic wearable exoskeletons is given and the developed systems are analysed: a two degree-of-freedom (DOF) shoulder – elbow exoskeleton and a six DOF shoulder–elbow–wrist exoskeleton.
