THE FLOW STUDY IN TANKS EQUIPED WITH
ASIMETRIC ORIFICES
This paper presents numerical results referring at the hydrodynamic
spectre of the flow inside a tank with asymmetric orifices. The finite difference
method is used to integrate the Navier-Stokes equations. Besides the
characteristics of the flow inside the tank, it presents interest the determination
of the contraction coefficient of the orifices.

This paper presents one of the numerical methods that integrate the Navier-Stokes equations, namely the method of finite differences, in order to determine the flowing through a tank and the contracted section of the liquid passing through an orifice.
