TRENDS IN BIOPLASTICS OBTAINING
MATERIAL PRODUCTION
Bioplastics, industry and agriculture are close connected. On a side
renewable resources from agriculture are basic feedstock for bioplastics
manufacturing. On the other side, products made from bioplastc materials have
a large applicability in agriculture, and as packaging in food industry. After the
bioplastics fulfill their mean and become residues, the cycle is closed by using
them as compost for fertilizer and a soil improvement in agriculture.
This interdependence lied when about 50 million hectares in EU are
not needed for food production for new opportunities in agriculture.
