International Standardization Organization (ISO) supports organizations to meet the challenges of climate change using quantification standards, verification of emissions of greenhouse gases and methods for measuring the carbon footprint of products. Using environmental standards, ISO provides environmental objectives by encouraging the inclusion of environmental aspects into product design and buildings.
Therefore, international standard have become increasingly important as environmental management practices provide common and comparable to support sustainable development goals of organizations in their organization, their products and service.

Under the conditions of present society in which providing an optimum interior comfort in buildings is confronted with the necessity of the energy consumption reduction, solving this problem depends on the factors which contribute to the achievements of this comfort. There are a number of international standards for sustainability in buildings and construction works. Standards identifies and describes issues that must be taken into account in the design and use of assessment methods of environmental performance for new or existing buildings in connection with the design, construction, operation, maintenance and renovating them, and demolition phases. Assessment and understanding of the environmental performance of buildings is essential to know the possible impact that buildings could have on the environment and their influence on sustainable development.

Under the conditions of present society in which providing an
optimum interior comfort in buildings is confronted with the necessity of the
energy consumption reduction, solving this problem depends on the factors
which contribute to the achievements of this comfort.
Modern buildings – including teaching unit – must be equipped with
installations which have low energy consumption, respective a heating,
cooling and ventilation integrated systems with heat pumps which can
assure all the required comfort requirements.

THE USE RENEWABLE ENRGY SOURCES IN TO ROMANIA
The energy strategy to value the potential of the energy sources is
inscribed in the coordinates of the long term Romanian energetic development.
The energy renewable sources represent an important component of the longlasting
energy development. Electricity production causes gases emission with
a greenhouse effect, mainly due to carbon dioxide and other pollutants. These
gases cause the rising of the Earth temperature, and so a smaller consume will
diminish the detrimental effect on the environment and will help to obtain long
lasting development of the life-style.
