ON THE GRAPHICAL METHODS OF THE CONICAL
TRANSITION SURFACES DESIGN
The component parts of various machines, equipments, devices or
installations from the machine-building consist of combinations of polyhedral or
curved surfaces. The passing from one surface to another is achieved by the
crooked lines in space, having non-coplanar points and which can be polygons
or curved lines. If the surfaces that compose the part are developable, they can
be made of flat sheets and their intersection line is even their joining line, e.g.
the welding belt. The paper presents the manufacturing possibility of some
parts of the flat sheets composed from the joining of two conical surfaces
having a common base.

METALLIC CONSTRUCTIONS REALIZED BY WINDING OF
SOME PLANE SURFACES ON REVOLUTION SOLIDS
Winding of a plane surface on a developable surface or, in general, of
a developable surface on another developable surface, in the reverse problem
to that of the transpose on plane of a surface. Less developed than the direct
problem, the first one present’s practical importance to realization of some
auxiliary metallic constructions like necklaces, frames, pads, etc. In the paper is
developed, by graphical methods, the design methodology of some metallic
constructions obtained by winding of some this sheets on cylindrical and
conical solids.

22-33 EVALUAREA OMOGENITĂŢII AMESTECURILOR DE PULBERI Fe-Nb, Fe-Ti şi Fe-V LA ELABORAREA OŢELURILOR SINTERIZATE MICROALIATE

The successful application of microalloying technique, used in the
HSLA steels elaboration by classical metallurgy, to the sintered structural steels
in order to improve their mechanical properties is determined, to a great extent,
by the homogeneity of Fe-microalloying element (Nb, Ti, or V) powder mixtures.
Therefore, its evaluation is of the maximum importance in the elaboration
process control in order to obtain the desired strengthening effect. The
possibility of application, for this purpose, of the statistical and experimental
method, respectively, is analyzed in this paper, with the reference to Fe-Nb, Fe-
Ti and Fe-V powder mixtures. Conclusions on factors affecting the homogeneity
degree, of practical applicability, are drawn on this basis.
