PRELIMINARY RESULTS CONCERNING ON THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE VIDEO IMAGE CORRELATION METHOD IN THE DENTAL IMPLANTS ANALYSIS

 

The authors, in their preliminary investigations [1; 2; 3], conceived an original testing bench, destined to human mandibles’ strain-state evaluation.

Involving the mentioned testing bench, the authors started to perform some preliminary experimental investigations in several dental implants’ behaviours.

In the described investigations, the authors some useful correlations between the dental implant’s positioning on the mandible, the applied mastication force magnitude and its relative 3D positioning with respect to the implant’s longitudinal axis.

Their next topic will consist in a searching examination of the optimal positioning of the implants, with respect to their loading conditions.

One has to underline the fact that the proposed original methodology will represent in the next period a high-accuracy approach in the evaluation of the strain-state analysis of the dental implants.

PRELIMINARY RESULTS CONCERNING ON EXPERIMENTAL
DETERMINATION OF THE ROLLING FRICTION COEFFICIENT
The authors, in their preliminary investigations [xxxx], conceived an
original testing bench, in order to establish the magnitude of the rolling friction
coefficient.
Involving the mentioned testing bench, the authors started to perform
some preliminary experimental investigations in several tribo-couples, foreseen
with thin plastic cover layer.
In the described investigations, the authors offer useful correlations
between the thickness of the layers and the magnitude of the rolling friction
coefficient.
Their next topic will consist in combining different tribo-couples, having
covered and uncovered elements, in order to diminish as soon as possible the
magnitude of the rolling friction coefficient.
One has to underline the fact that the proposed original methodology
will represent in the next period a high-accuracy approach in the evaluation of
the rolling friction coefficient, corresponding to different pairs of elements, which
constitute the tribo-couple.

27-79 CONSIDERAŢII PRIVIND ÎMBUNĂTĂŢIREA TIPULUI DE ÎNCERCARE AL ADEZIVILOR

CONSIDERATIONS ON THE ADHESIVE TESTING
TYPE’S IMPROVEMENT
The authors of the contribution analyse several types of the specimens, involved in the adhesives’ testing protocol. Based on the results of the Finite Element analysis, respectively of the experimental investigations ones, by means of Holographic Interferometry, they suggest a new type of specimen, which assures a more accurate evaluation of the pure shear effect in the adhesive layer. Also, their original testing stand destined to Holographic Interferometry investigations, described in an earlier contribution, can be efficiently involved in this new type of investigation of the adhesives.
The most critical issue consists of the high-accuracy determining of the shear strength of the adhesive layer, without the bending’s additional effect.
The proposed methodology and type of the specimen offer the adequate answer. The author’s further goal consists in involving this new approach in different kind of adhesives’ examination.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS FOR THE FIRE RESISTANCE LOAD
BEARING CAPACITY IMPROVING OF THE STRUCTURES
The authors of the contribution presents several possible solutions
destined to improving the load bearing capacity of the steel structural elements.
In this sense, are described some existent solutions, respectively two other
originals, ones. Every solution is analyzed from their usefulness’ point of view,
respectively their limits. The original solutions/proposals seem to fulfil several
major fire safety criteria, mainly to increase the safe period of the structural
elements. The authors intend applying one of them in a forthcoming PhD
thesis experimental part.

23-72 METODĂ DE CONTROL NEDISTRUCTIV AL VASELOR DE PRESIUNE RIDICATĂ

NDT METHOD FOR HIGH-PRESSURE VESSELS
The high-pressure vessels are widely used in technique. Their safeoperating
without damage represents a major demand. Taking for example the
Oxygen-, Nitrogen-, or natural gas vessels, one of their main cause/motive of
damage consists of the punt-corrosion (bottom-corrosion), which leads to the
drastically reduction (shortening) of their life-time, respectively it will
compromise their working in safety conditions. The widely-used periodical
testing methods, mainly in advance of their refilling with the working agent, are
nor sure, nor efficiently. The authors propose a simply new NDT testing
protocol, based on the Moiré-Fringe Method, but it can be applied successfully
using the Digital Correlation one. There are also described two original testing
benches. The proposed methodology will assure a high-efficiently monitoring
and good traceability of the tested vessels, respectively such controlling
method, which will not diminish their initial life-times.
