IMPACT OF COMPOSTING PROCESS ON
ENVIRONMENT AND PUBLIC HEALTH
Composting of organic waste like other industrial process has negative
and positive effects on environment and public health.
The main negative effects are the emissions in air, unlikely smells,
noise, emission in water, heavy metals in soil. All of this could affect population.
The main positive effect is improvement and fertilization of soil which
increase the plants.
