C18 – ÎNCERCĂRI DE OBOSEALĂ LA ÎNCOVOIERE DIAGRAMA WÖHLER

BENDING FATIGUE TESTS
WÖHLER DIAGRAM
The laboratory activity in the discipline „Machine Organs” contributes to training
and development of experimental work and calculation skills, in parallel with the
creative application of theoretical knowledge.
The objectives pursued are:

knowledge of constructive solutions;

  • exemplifying the main ways of destruction of organs
    machines, establishing the causes and proposing solutions capable of prevents
    the deterioration process;
  • development of assessment skills through measurements of principals
    constructive parameters;
  • developing the skills to develop a program experimental;
  • critical analysis of measurement and test results;
  • training and development of engineering-specific calculation skills
    mechanics, using the facilities offered by MATLAB;
  • developing the ability to work in a team.
    The subject of the work is the fatigue of rotary bending and follow drawing
    Wöhler diagrams, highlighting the complex of factors that intervene in the
    assessment of the fatigue resistance limit for a part the real.

C17 – COLOANA CUGIREANĂ A RECUNOȘTINȚEI INFINITE

THE CUGIREAN COLUMN OF INFINITE GRATITUDE
The promotion and enhancement of the public forum monument
(MFP), the „Gratitude Column” is presented in a unique way by specifying the
correspondence of important events in the history of the Cugir Iron and Steel
Factory, with one of the 13 modules of the gratitude column. Remarkable
technical products of the factory established in 1799 are recorded case by
case. The column was erected in 1974, on the occasion of the visit of the
Romanian head of state to the city of Cugir.

Abstract: The automotive industry during the last the years has
improved most of the whole components. An important component for a vehicle
is the tire, and for this the researchers and the companies started to develop a
new type – tires which function without air. In this paper it is presented a study
about compliant tire without air, but also a prototype for the model.

APPLICATIONS TO RAPID PROTOTYPING SCALE USING LEGO
MINDSTORMS NXT EDUCATIONAL KIT
ABSTRACT: The paper is dedicated to the succinct presentation of
the mechatronic concepts needed to promote innovation, creativity and
interdisciplinarity. The main objectives of the paper aims to familiarize them
with the concept of rapid prototyping scale and mechatronic modules, with
components LEGO Mindstorms. The first application is made using the courserelated
instructions. In the second application, we performed a functional
replica of a given structure (with a minimum of elements), without detailed
installation instructions.

C14 – NOȚIUNI DE NORMARE TEHNICĂ ÎN PROCESUL PRODUCȚIEI PRELUCRĂRII PRIN AȘCHIERE

TECHNICAL STANDARDIZATION NOTIONS IN THE
PRODUCTION PROCESS OF MACHINING
This paper refers to the time and production norm in the
machining process, but also includes minimal data on the production
process, namely production management.
Obtaining material goods, as a result of the industrial production
process, is the main activity of industrial enterprises. The quality and
viability of labor norms are factors that decisively influence the activity
of workers and, implicitly, the payment to which they are entitled for the
work performed.
For a labor norm to be considered quality, it must be based on
a standard work method and a rational work process.
Labor norms must have a dynamic character, that is, they must
be updated to permanently reflect: the technological level, the way the
activity is organized, the existing working conditions and the working
methods used.

C13 – SIMULAREA CONTACTULUI LA MERSUL ÎN GOLÎN ANGRENAJELE MELC-ROATĂ PLANĂ

THE IDLER TOOTH CONTACT SIMULATION
IN WORM-FACE GEAR DRIVES
To simulate the idler tooth contact for a worm-face gear drive with
localized contact, a combinative algoritm of using an original computer
manufacturing simulation method and a MathCAD program has been
developed. The contact pattern on a particular worm-face gear teeth flanks is
illustrated.

DIGITAL PRESSURE
Mechatronics education ensures flexibility in action and thinking. I have
chosen as an example a practical application of simultaneous pressure
measurement in two ways: analytically and digitally.
Pressure is a basic parameter for most technological processes in which fluids
are used.
The proposed application aims to practically materialize in a single working
scheme the measurement of the same pressure with two distinct measuring
means.

This paper presents the design and practical realization of a
kinematic axis, using Lego components.
LEGO equipment constitutes a material base of inestimable value
for educating young people, in the learning process with a practical
experience.
Details are presented regarding the design, structure and operation
of the platform for the realization of a kinematic axis based on a DC motor.

Abstract: In the paper Industry 5:0 is seen as the next industrial evolution, it has
the main objective of harnessing creativity in collaboration with efficient,
intelligent and precise machines, in order to achieve solutions dedicated to
resource-efficient production and user-acceptable in comparison with Industry
4:0. In the paper I introduced some new concepts and definitions of Industry
5:0. Some research challenges and open issues are highlighted that should be
further developed to realize Industry 5:0.

C8 – REALIZAREA PRIN INGINERIE INVERSĂ CU IMPRIMANTA 3D A UNUI SUBANSAMBLU DIN PLASTIC PENTRU AUTOVEHICULE

Abstract: The aim of this work was to reverse engineer an assembly of
parts with the help of a 3D printer. For this purpose, as a set of parts, the handle
from the window lifting mechanism for a vintage car, Dacia 1310, was chosen.
The stages of reverse engineering in this case involved obtaining the dimensions
of the parts, 3d modeling in SolidWorks, finite element analysis and the
constructive optimization of the handle, respectively the physical creation of the
parts on the 3d printer and their subsequent assembly.

C7 – SISTEM MECATRONIC DE MANIPULARE COMPLIANTCU SIMULARE VR

Abstract: Gripping and handling are essential operations in the field of
technology, and the evolution of unconventional technologies make it possible to
develop mechatronic systems that perform micro-manipulation operations.
Compliant grippers are devices specially designed for the precise handling of
micro objects, so this work aims to achieve a compliant handling system. To
visualize the operation of the system, state-of-the-art technology will be used,
namely virtual reality.

C6 – CONTRIBUȚII PRIVIND REALIZAREA UNUI SISTEM DE AUTOMATIZARE A CULTURII RĂSADURILOR ÎN SPAȚII CONTROLATE

Abstract: The paper explores the potential of automation in seedling
cultivation with a focus on hydroponic systems. The advantages of hydroponic
cultivation in controlled spaces are presented, such as rapid plant growth, precise
environmental control and resource efficiency. The paper also details the process
of developing a customized automation system, including the choice of sensors
and its implementation in a greenhouse. In conclusion, the study highlights the
economic and environmental benefits of automation in agriculture, as well as the
potential to improve the quality and quantity of agricultural production.

C5 – STUDIU PRIVIND INFLUENȚA PARAMETRILOR PROCESULUI DE IMPRIMARE 3D ASUPRA PRECIZIEI SUPRAFEȚELOR CIRCULARE

Abstract: The aim of this work is to analyze and optimize the 3D printing
process, focusing on the influence of printing parameters on the accuracy of
printed parts. Experiments were carried out with the Creality Ender 3 V2 Neo
printer, using various settings optimized by the RSM Design Expert software.
Two types of materials were used, PLA and PETG. The printed parts were
measured with a digital caliper and the deviations were calculated to determine
the best combinations of parameters. The size deviations of PLA parts were
smaller compared to PETG, printing nozzle size of 0.4 mm and a printing speed
of 30 mm/s produced the best results, fill degree of 90% was found to be optimal
for reducing deviations.

C4 – SISTEM MECATRONIC PENTRU POZIȚIONARE PRECISĂ CU MECANISME COMPLIANTE

Abstract: In this paper, a mechatronic positioning system has
been designed, consisting of two distinct modules: one for coarse
positioning, driven by servomotors, and another for precise positioning
with flexible hinges, actuated by piezoelectric actuators. The paper is
structured into three chapters that cover the design, simulation and the
interpretation of the results obtained using finite element analysis.

SYSTEM WITH COMPLIANT WIPERS
Abstract: In this paper, some variants for a wiper system have been
designed, consisting of two distinct modules: one for the positioning, and another
with compliant wipers. The paper presents two different designs for the compliant
wipers where after the finite element analysis it obtained different results. Also,
these variants were fabricated with 3D printing technology.

C2 – ELEMENTE PRIVIND AUTOMATIZAREA ȘICONTROLUL UNOR PROCESE DIN CADRULFERMELOR AGROZOOTEHNICE

Abstract: The aim of the work is to present and create an experimental
model in which the integration of a low-cost, control and automation system for
a livestock farm will be demonstrated. The system, in addition to the model made
of plexiglass, is based on an Arduino Mega 2560 board, gas sensors, combined
sensor for determining temperature, humidity and atmospheric pressure, sensor
for determining light intensity, also contains ventilation fan, LED matrix and
servomotors for natural ventilation. Monitoring and controlling microclimate
parameters not only improve animal health and productivity, but also contributes
to the prevention of environmental and safety risks. The sensors and automated
mechanisms integrated into this model provide an efficient and practical model
for modern animal farm management, thus ensuring a healthy and safe
environment.

C1 – CONTRIBUȚII PRIVIND REALIZAREA UNUI SISTEM AUTOMAT DE IRIGAȚIE ȘI MONITORIZAREA ACESTUIA DE LA DISTANȚĂ

Abstract: This paper presents the development of an automated
irrigation system with a focus on optimizing water use and increasing crop yield.
In the first part, the operating principles of different irrigation systems are
presented, emphasizing the importance of monitoring soil parameters such as
humidity, temperature and electrical conductivity. The central part of the paper
details the design and implementation of the automated system, which uses
sensors, an Arduino board and a communication module to collect soil data and
control irrigation according to needs. In conclusion, the paper demonstrates the
functionality and sustainability of such a system, underlining its potential to
improve agricultural practices. Future research directions, such as the integration
of automatic fertilization and the expansion of monitoring capabilities, are also
presented.
