THE EFFECT OF DEVELOPMENT COMPACT AND
VERTICAL CITY CLUJ-NAPOCA ON ENVIRONMENT
This paper presents some considerations on the impact on the environment of the development compact and vertically around the old traffic arteries, an urban ecosystem. As a case study, it is analysed central area of Cluj-Napoca, the results of the measurements made and the sources of noise by monitoring noise generated by road traffic in the period 2007 -2015.
