ANALYSIS AND IMPROVING ACTIVITIES CARRIED IN A WHAREHOUSE – A CASE STUDY IN AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY
At present, logistics and warehouse management are some of the most important branches in the production environments.On the one hand, they must ensure that all the components required in the production process are available in stock in JIT system and, on the other hand, that the cost of storage capacity should be reduced to a minimum. This paper aims to analyze and improve activity of a warehouse in a multinational automotive company.

HEIJUNKA METHOD IMPLEMENTATION IN

The implementation of modern production systems has become a necessity due to global competition and aims a better response to customer requirements, improve quality, decrease delivery times and costs. This paper aims to implement Heijunka method for increasing the performance of a production process within an automotive company in Sibiu. By implementing the method desired volumes leveling to balance inventories and customer demand.

RESEARCHES ON THE IMPLEMENTATION OF ZIRCONIUM OXIDE INSERTS FOR CUTTING METALS
The paper attempts to demonstrate superior performance of cutting inserts made of zirconia, a ceramic material superior aluminum oxide used more as a structural material in dentistry for dental prosthetics works. Also it intends to recycle the unused blank zirconia to obtain a cost reduction of dental prosthetics works.

SIMULATION AND OPTIMIZATION OF A TRAFFIC FLOW
IN A ROUNDABOUT
The paper presents the analyze and optimization of traffic flow in a roundabout located on the road Alba -Iulia, highway that connects central and western industrial area is very crowded especially during peak periods. Following comments from the field, calculations and numerous simulations performed with the software Synchro Studio 8 there were have proposed improvements in terms of optimizing traffic flows and changes in the geometry of the intersection to reduce delays and increase velocity.
