DESIGN METHODOLOGY OF THE WORKCELLS The paper presents a methodology for the design of manufacturing cells, covering all the necessary steps, from the analysis of the curtomers’ needs, to the layout, the physical and information flows through the workcell and the standardization of work. The tools needed to go through each stage are presented. There are also links to major company systems. For each design stage, deliverables are specified. The methodology is a complex one, and in a wider space the detailed parameters will be presented in detail.
