Road traffic is in continuous development. It is necessary to implement effective systems for organizing and controlling this traffic. The present paper provides a very detailed documentation of the road traffic control options in the European Community. Documentation was necessary to propose a variant of control system in a crowded area of road traffic in Romania (part II of the paper)
