Make a selection of work items and the factors that lead to unexpected
event called „traffic accident”. Are the concept of „safety” and the possibility of
its optimization. The paper is presented a solution to reduce the negative
effects that occur in the event of a frontal impact of vehicle with a fixed obstacle
through equipping its bumper with shock absorbers magneto rheological.
