research of SUPERCHARGHING SYSTEM parameters FOR COMPRESSION IGNITION ENGINES
This study explains the parameters that influence supercharging system operation. This parameters were obtained from practical activity, when with a diagnostic system were identifies and analyzed some sizes such as: engine speed, acceleration pedal position, air mass, boost pressure actual, boost pressure nominal, boost pressure control duty cycle, intake air temperature, injection quantity actual. The vehicle which was chosen for practical activity is a Audi A4 Avant, because the presented car benefits of a supercharging system which increases engine power. A supercharger system is characterized by the fact that particles of air that entering in the engine is compressed by a compressor and forced introduced into the combustion chamber. Supercharging system from Audi A4 is based on a turbine which is driven by exhaust gas and has attached a shaft through which compressor is actioned. There parameters identified on practical activity interpreted through graphic representation in this way can be observed the evolution of certain sizes.
