ACCORDING TO THE NORMS IN FORCE
Aerial electric lines are designed to ensure safe transport and
distribution of electricity. Physical support is provided by the power lines poles.
Pillars supporting 110kV aerial lines are usually made using prestressed spun
concrete. Currently in Romania, prestressed concrete poles for high voltage
electric lines are no longer manufactured, but this type of poles are in service.
In case of intervention on a transmission line by modifying the original design
characteristics, it is important that pillars can be verified easily as area of use
for the evaluation of investment costs, to ensure in designed version the ability
to take over the loads satisfying toughness requirements and stability.

constructions, so that wastage of public money can be avoided.

the resistance and stability. The rehabilitation of old buildings made of brick, is
difficult because in many cases, norelated data about the materials has been
found, nor of the structure conformation,or about the adjustments during the life
of the building, or which severe external actions has it been subjected to.

Die vorliegende Arbeit behandelt ein neues Meßprinzip der
Bodenverdichtung. Aus dem Bewegungsverhalten einer zur Verdichtung des
Bodens eingesetzten Vibrationswalze auf die Eigenschaften des Bodens
zurückzuschließen, erfüllt die Anforderungen des Meßverfahrens. Dieses
Verfahren der Verdichtungskontrolle bietet gegenüber der bisherigen
Prüftechnik den wesentlichen Vorteil, die Bodeneigenschaften arbeitsintegriert
flächendekend messen zu können. Es wird das Beteriebsverhalten der
Vibrationswalze analytisch beschrieben und man kann mit zwei Methoden die
Verdichtung ununterbrochen überprüfen.

30-76 TASARE FOARTE REDUSĂ A SOLULUI GRANULAR LA SĂPAREA CU TBM A METROULUI BUCUREȘTI

VERY LOW GROUND SETTLEMENT IN TBM TUNNELLING IN
GRANULAR SOIL AT THE BUCHAREST METRO LINE 4
The second stage of the Bucharest Metro extension started with the metro
tunnel excavation presented in this paper, the M4 line. Tunnels in soft ground
usually imply drilling through sub-surface un-lithified deposits, namely
cohesive/non-cohesive/mixed soils that involve soft ground tunneling conditions
where the tunnel is driven using a closed shield as temporary ground support. This
must be followed by immediate involvement of tunnel lining due to considerable
potential of ground movement during excavation, realized using a high
mechanization level of the process. The Bucharest soil grain size distribution and
the rest of the soil geotechnical parameters was the main factor to deal with. The
water table also played a major role in determining the TBM type used, presenting
further influences on the stability of the excavation face, with the option of
dewatering the drilling site soil enhancing the TBM circumstances.
The chosen EPB type of TBM handled the geological variations that
occurred at the excavation face (e.g. voids) due to the non-compressive medium
which fills the working chamber at the TBM front and responds instantly and
efficiently at the combined activity of hydraulic jacks thrust pressure; advance
speed; cutter head torque and revolution speed; mucking screw speed which were
controlled via a complex software and proper manning to set a constant value to the
drilling head and TBM shield to achieve the smoothest and fastest advance of the
boring machine. Using a soil conditioner that presented an up-graded formula
rendered to the excavated soil considerably improved parameters. Moreover, the
high degree of mechanization and automation of the excavation activity with TBM
has decreased the high level of soil settlement and excavation face failure risk,
resulting a very low ground settlement value for the project.

Improved thermal protection for both structural and non-structural
exterior walls is achieved by applying an additional insulating layer to all the
constructive solutions used for walls. In order the thermal insulation obtained by
applying the system to satisfy all requirements it is essential how the system is
applied since the final result is influenced up to 40 % by the workmanship
quality. The works should be performed only by qualified personnel in this field,
by workers trained for the given purpose and who understood the usefulness of
such a system, but also the sensitivities of execution technology.

test in a semi closed space involving stationary car model. One scenario
considering a fire at one car caught in a road tunnel. Taking into consideration
fully developed fire, the temperature evolution, the time for temperature
increase and smoke spread and their meaning in case of a real event. The
results give us an image about user chances of escape from an event like this,
using both physical and numerical scalarization methods.

plants based on solid biomass for a higher security of energy supply at

The aim of this paper is the evaluation of wastewater from the point of
view of the quality parameters and establishing the efficiency of the Huedin city
treatment plant, which was rehabilitated in 2013. The main indicators of the
water quality track and review both the treatment plant at the entrance and exit
for the period January 2012-December 2015, referring to the biochemical
consummation of the oxygen-CBO5, total suspensions, ammonium-NH4,
chemical oxygen demand – CCO-Mn, pH of the water, detergents, a fixed
residue, total nitrogen, total phosphorus and CCO-Cr. Analyses carried out and
processed into monthly and yearly averages for these indicators revealed that
after the modernizations of the treatment station, they are all of the regulations
currently in force concerning the conditions of wastewater discharge.

particular efficiencies for the conversion chain of a thermal power plant, using
the fossil fuels. Additionally, the losses in the transport and distribution of
electrical energy, with more tension stages are also evocated. We have divided
the chain in three stages: the raw fuel extraction and transport, the power plant
and the electrical transport and distribution system. For each module the
efficiency was shown and the final efficiency to the consumer was related to the
heating value of the extracted fuel at the ore. Based on values of the
efficiencies, the process and the equipment with high losses were identified.
The impact of these losses on the surroundings was mentioned.

ATV’S DYNAMICS IN THE CASE OF TRAILER TOW
All-Terrain Vehicles are globally-spread nowadays both as entertaining
systems and as utility equipment. This paper presents a contribution to the
experimental research and graphical study of the data gained by developing a
practical protocol and methodology in order to monitor the kinematic and
dynamic parameters for three specific road surfaces, with all-terrain vehicle of
the type ATV CF MOTO 500-5A/L7e in the process of deceleration/acceleration
from different initial speed values. There were measured the braking distances
compared to the initial reference point and meanwhile were determined the
dynamic parameters of the ATV CF MOTO 500-5A/L7e during the
acceleration/deceleration process in the case of trailer towing, when a traction
force acts at the vehicle hook due to the 750 kg trailer. The opportunity of
researching this dynamic behavior is made possible by a research contract in
Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, showing that the trailer inertia force is
influencing both kinematics and dynamics during driving maneuvers of braking
and accelerating, as well as different conditions during usual ATV riding.

Lubricating system from any engine plays an significant role in
generating all of its dynamic performances. Fuel economy and energetic
performances from all compression ignition engines correlate with the working
degree of its lubricating system. The present work studies the mathematical
models of important phenomena from lubricating process. Compression ignition
engine lubrication process has a considerable part in influencing all sequences
of the working cycle and the components life duration. Some phenomena that
influence the lubricating process have a significant role in the engine durability
and consequently on pollution level. Environmental problem and engine’s
working time are significant problems for everyone in the present days. Human
life style has a specific relation with the ambient and modern engines. The
present article studies and outlines the influence of fuel type and engine’s
speed upon the compression ignition engine power losses, due to the
lubrication process through simulation and modeling. It is obvious that there are
very important factors which highly influence the quality of the lubricating
process and thus of the engine’s losses. In this study are presented the
variations and graphs of some important factors that are influenced by the
lubricating process in various situations, determined by complex analyze of
available data with a virtual model in simulation program.

consumption, average speed, location and economic behavior, in urban defined
road conditions and climate, with Renault Kangoo vehicle of the model year
2007 during the frequently START-STOP process in real environment engine
exploitation. There is evaluated the mileage measured from the initial reference
point and also the economic and ecologic behavior based on the fuel supply
process in the case of undertaking a specified track. The importance of the
present research is given by the fact that vehicle economy and dynamic loading
during some urban driving maneuvers have a great influence on environmental
impact when braking and taking off, also on a variety of normal situations.

various operating conditions and loadings, with a hydraulic brake connected to
the crank-shaft in order to induce the resistance force. Here is outlined the
injection system for diesel fuel supply of the tractor Lombardini engine. The
opportunity for studying the injection system of the Lombardini tractor engine
comes from the actual development of present work which concentrates on the
solving the problem connected with fuel supply and lubrication of the
compression ignited engine in various situations during operation.

COMBUSTION ENGINES
The present work shows a detailed analysis of gases after-treatment
systems for modern spark engines with different components installed, by
generating a simulation research of the working phenomenology and
parameters. It outlines the specific field of gas after-treatment methods (with
modern catalytic components) developed for spark ignited engines, specifically
the energy and economy improving possibilities through simulation of the final
evacuation process of gases. There is considered that the gas evacuation and
exhaust system architecture besides the catalytic converter have a major
influence upon the phenomena of gas flow and also on the engine economy
and pollution. Modeling and simulating the after-treatment systems on spark
ignited engines may lead to a multitude of engineering acts and improvement
strategies in order to optimize the environmental performance and fuel
economy, while the engine dynamic performance will be accurately managed.
Today in European Union the specific regulations in antipollution domain and oil
independence in relation with the Middle East are more often discussed, being
high priorities on the institutional and executional panel. The present article
outlines the issue of modeling/simulating exhaust engine systems and
improving the existing components but with significant changes which must
comply with the law requirements of reduced pollution and low consumption.

The research paper outlines an experimental evaluation of the parameters
related to fuel consumption, engine speed, vehicle speed and environmental
temperature in different gear ratios and accelerator pedal positions, with sport
utility vehicle Peugeot 4007 during the urban driving process. There isn’t an
explicit study concerning the consumption and performance in urban driving
situation of the Peugeot 4007. There are many SUVs on the roads of our country,
but there should also be an interest concerning their fuel economy and
environmental impact. The engine and environment temperature, besides the
gear ratio and accelerator pedal position have a significant influence on the
engine’s economy and pollution. In the present paper it is studied the fuel
consumption of the engine when driving the Peugeot 4007 SUV in order to outline
the relation between the gear ratio, vehicle speed and fuel economy. The
collected data is accurately evaluated and observed.

RESEARCH OF FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM
PARAMETERS FOR THE ENGINE OF BMW 320D
The present article makes an analyze through experimental research of
the parameters obtained from practical measurements related to fuel injection
supply, consumption, operating regime and engine speed, in different situations
and accelerator positions, with sport oriented vehicle of the type BMW series 3
during the operating process. There aren’t such explicitly developed studies
concerning the injection parameters of the E90 engine model of BMW 320d on the
national level. It is known that there are many such vehicles registered in our
country, there being a strong will to know their performances and operational status.
The injection and combustion besides the supercharging have a major influence
upon the engine’s dynamic performances, fuel economy and pollution. Testing and
studying the injection and air-fuel supply systems on BMW diesel engines may offer
engineering solutions and optimizing ideas in order to improve their environmental
impact and fuel economy, while the engine dynamic behavior will be little affected. In
this work it is developed a program for testing such a dynamic engine and for
collecting the injection and other systems parameters in order to facilitate their
operational understanding. The data is managed and accurately inspected and
interpreted.

„privatizate” – a se citi prăduite – în ultimul deceniu. Ar deveni vizibile
etapele transferului ilegal de la întreprinderea statului român, C.F.R., la
diverse persoane suspecte. În cazul optimist că ar putea deveni
posibilă identificarea persoanelor implicate, funcţiile acestora, chefurile
destrăbălate şi punerea în dependenţă a şefilor din regionalele
respective, cursul ascendent impresionant al averilor lor, destinaţia
finală a banilor şi a consecinţelor în plan economico-social, s-ar putea
lesne observa că sintagma „subminare a economiei naționale”,
eliminată intenţionat din textul legii, nu corespunde realităţii. Cea
potrivită este Jaf naţional! Dacă miile de disponibilizaţi ar fi solicitaţi
să-şi spună părerea, ar ieşi la iveală probe irefutabile pentru a-i putea
