TESTING AND PERFORMANCE EVALUATION OF A NUT-CRACKING MACHINE PROTOTYPE
Abstract: This study presents the design, construction and experimental testing nut-cracking machine prototype intended for household and small-scale farm applications (with emphasis on walnut, Juglans regia). The mechanical solution consists of a rotating cylindrical shaft and an adjustable reaction plate mounted inside a cracking chamber. A representative sample of one hundred walnuts was measured (dimensional statistics) and nine experimental trials were conducted with cracking gap settings between 26 mm and 41 mm; each test processed 1 000 g of nuts and categorized in fully cracked, partially cracked and intact kernels. Experimental analysis identified a narrow optimal gap range (≈30–31 mm) that maximizes intact-kernel yield. The prototype is suitable for household and small-scale farm use and can be further developed toward automation and higher productivity.

CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF A MULTIFUNCTIONAL AERIAL SYSTEM FOR SOWING AND DISTRIBUTING FERTILIZERS
Abstract: The purpose of the paper is to create and develop a device for sowing and distributing fertilizers, suspended from an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and displaying data in an HTML page6. This device is designed to provide superior performance in hard-to-reach areas, such as highway slopes, riverbanks, and mountainous areas, compared to existing agricultural equipment7. The work includes the analytical calculation and design of the device, a description of the Arduino IDE code, the HTML interface, and the electronic components used8. The final chapters present the performed measurements, determination of rotation speeds (RPM), and the final results9.

NUMERICAL INVESTIGATION OF PLANE WHEEL GEARS
AND CAD SIMULATION OF THE KINEMATIC GENERATION
OF THE PLANE WHEEL TOOTH
ABSTRACT: In preceding research, the concept of Computer
Manufacturing Simulation (CMS) was developed by authors as a novel and
intuitive interface of 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD) systems used in
Virtual Reality (VR) engineering. Current research focuses on numerical
investigation of worm-face gear drives geometry and applicability of the CMS
method in simulation of face gear tooth kinematical generation. Firstly, a
novel program IGD (Interactive Graphic Design), for calculus and verification
of worm-face gear drives has been developed in a MathCAD environment.
Secondly, the paper concentrates on the virtual simulation of the face gear
tooth generation by CMS method. Numerical examples illustrate and validate
the developed approach.

STUDDY OF THE RESONANCE PHENOMENON
IN ALTERNATIVE CURRENT CIRCUITS
In general, the sources of electrical energy that supply electrical
circuits provide them with both active power, necessary for various uses, and
reactive power, corresponding to the variation of the energy stored in the
electric and magnetic fields of the network. In certain particular cases, it is
possible that while energy is accumulated in some of these fields, in the other
fields the energy decreases by an equal amount, the electric and magnetic
fields mutually supplying the necessary energy, so that the energy exchange
between the source and the fields in the circuit is zero at any time and –
correspondingly – the reactive power supplied by the source is also zero.
Although the circuit has reactive elements, it will absorb only active
power from the source. In this case, it is said that resonance phenomena occur
in the circuit

C9-REDUCTOR MECANIC ROTATIV

Abstract:This work was possible whit the results of engineering studies so far
where we found the solution and its application in a practical situation inherent in
the most diverse sphere of human activities. With the passage of time, even the
most successful and efficient mechanical constructions will be surpassed by the
dynamism of human progress. In this situation, man intervenes whit modern
solutions for modern challenges. In this case we applied practical solution of gear
reduction. We sought to use the existing space left over from the previous version
of the machine builder by combining as much as possible of the reducer elements
without affecting the aesthetic and resistance characteristics of the designed
reducer.
The new reducer makes a speed reduction from 400/RPM to 200/RPM
whit its operation even in overload mode through a correct dimensioning resulting
rom the strength calculation of the gear gears and by assigning a module of 5mm
to the wheels in the cassette.

EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON THE INFLUENCE OF HEAT
TREATMENT REGIMES ON THE MICROSTRUCTURE AND
TOUGHNESS OF C45 STEEL
The present paper investigates the correlation between the heat
treatment parameters (normalization, quenching in various media,
return), the microstructural evolution and the shock fracture behavior of
C45 grade carbon steel. The study involved the application of heating
cycles at 900oC, followed by cooling in water, oil and air, as well as
successive tempering at 220oC and 600oC. The experimental results
demonstrated a reduced penetration of the quenching of C45 steel into
oil, where a heterogeneous structure of troostite and martensite 43 HRC
was obtained, compared to the fully martensitic structure obtained in
water 58 HRC. The analysis of fibrosity and crystallity of the fracture
surfaces highlighted the transition from brittle cleavage rupture (specific
to the hardened state) to tenacious, fibrous rupture (specific to the
improvement state), reaching a maximum value of KCU resilience of 112
J/cm2 after high recovery. The paper validates the importance of
improvement treatment for machine parts.

Abstract: This paper presents the design of a compliant positioning
system driven by piezoelectric actuators, integrated into a high-precision
microscope. The paper is organized into seven chapters, with emphasis on the
design of three constructive variants and on the finite element analysis performed
for two different materials. Finally, a prototype was fabricated by 3D printing.

STUDY ON THE POSSIBILITIES OF USING REMOTE SENSING IN AGRICULTURE
Abstract: The paper presents an analysis of the possibilities of using remote sensing in agriculture, with a focus on the ability of multispectral satellite images to provide essential information on the state of vegetation, crop evolution and the identification of areas affected by biotic or abiotic stress. The main types of sensors and platforms used in modern agriculture, such as Sentinel, Landsat and MODIS, are analyzed, as well as the most frequently applied algorithms, such as NDVI, EVI and NDWI. The study highlights the benefits of remote sensing in optimizing agricultural processes, reducing costs and supporting managerial decisions. By integrating satellite data with GIS and analytical models, agriculture becomes more precise, sustainable and predictive.

and development of an intelligent refrigerator capable of automatically
monitoring stored food, controlling operational parameters, and
communicating in real time with the user. The system integrates
temperature, humidity, and presence sensors, a microcontroller-based
control module, and dedicated software for data management. The main
objectives are energy optimization, extended food preservation, and
automated inventory tracking. Experimental results confirm the stability
of the prototype, high measurement accuracy, and its potential
integration into modern IoT ecosystems.

Abstract: The paper presents the design and implementation of
a fully automated vertical hydroponic system for seedling production in
controlled environments. By integrating an Arduino UNO board with pH,
TDS, temperature, light, and water-level sensors, the system enables
automatic monitoring and regulation of key growth parameters. Its
physical structure includes vertical PVC columns and a recirculation
circuit optimized for efficient use of resources. Experimental results
confirm the system’s stability, reliability, and scalability. The study
highlights the relevance of automation and embedded technologies in
modern agriculture and their potential to sustain productive, low-cost
hydroponic installations.

CONTRIBUTIONS REGARDING THE DEVELOPMENT OF AN
INTELLIGENT PARKING SYSTEM
Abstract: The paper presents the development of an intelligent
parking system designed to optimize the management of parking spaces,
provide real-time availability monitoring, and reduce urban congestion.
The system integrates intelligent hardware modules (ultrasonic sensors,
microcontroller, communication modules) connected through a software
platform capable of collecting, processing, and displaying relevant
information in a user-friendly format. The results demonstrate the
system’s efficiency, its high accuracy in detecting parking space
occupancy, and its scalability for both urban and private applications.
The article details the design methodology, hardware architecture,
functional diagram, and performance evaluation of the prototype.
