The present scientific paper outlines a practical installation on the electronic management system targeted to graphically represent important data packages acquired through scanning the operational engine. Graphical interface MoTeC i2 Standard Rally offers the possibility of an all in one representation module in the Subaru Rally Cars. Studying the available data package from the engine’s auxiliary systems like engine temperature, air temperature inlet, coolant temperature and others will allow the engineer crew to adjust the powertrain for best performance and economy ratio.

MAXIMUM BRAKING FORCES ON TOYOTA AVENSIS

The present research outlines a practical testing on the auxiliary car system in braking procedure aimed to record and represent experimental data packages gained through measurement in the operational regime. Measuring the braking systems concerning the maximum forces developed in operation offers real data for comparison. Researching the testing parameters from the braking auxiliary systems like maximum braking force, stationary braking, braking differences and braking forces on each axles will allow the engineers to adjust the systems for best performance and less unnecessary friction values.

35-40 CERCETAREA OPACITĂȚII ȘI CONSUMULUI LA DACIA SANDERO 1.5 DCI FĂRĂ EGR

RESEARCH OF OPACITY AND CONSUMPTION AT DACIA SANDERO 1.5 DCI WITHOUT EGR

The study of pollutant emissions, especially of the Dacia Sandero 1.5 dCi passenger car at different operating regimes was developed by monitoring the fuel consumption. The introduction of the study is concerned about pollution, the environmental problem which is met every day. Pollution is about emitting in the surrounding environment chemical components which may lead to the structural imbalance between various life forms, which impacts health and comfort at all levels and causes ambient damage by altering natural and life sustaining factors. Different types of pollution do manifest continuously. First of all the air pollution from automobiles is the most important and analyzed in this study. In it is also considered the ecological design approach of most cars. Another section of the study makes a brief history of the internal combustion engines and their improvement process taking into account the pollutant emissions. Further in the study a comprehensive step is about the evolution of the chemical pollution. Last but not least is a description of the devices for measuring the pollutant emissions of cars. Another chapter enumerates and defines the filters, equipment and systems applied in engine development to meet increasingly stringent pollution standards. The study also contains the experimental part of the work. In this part is presented the measuring system used and then the results acquired from the Dacia Sandero 1.5 dCi engine, by monitoring the variation in the opacity of the exhaust smoke and the evolution of fuel consumption in different engine operating regimes. The last part of the study contains the final conclusions and proposed development perspectives.

35-41 CERCETAREA OPACITĂȚII ȘI CONSUMULUI LA DACIA SANDERO 1.5 DCI FĂRĂ UN INJECTOR

RESEARCH OF OPACITY AND CONSUMPTION AT DACIA SANDERO 1.5 DCI WITHOUT AN INJECTOR

The study of opacity, in particular for Dacia Sandero 1.5 dCi compression ignited engine in two distinctive operating circumstances was developed by monitoring the exhaust emission and fuel flow with and without an injector failure. The first part of the research is focused on Sandero presentation and its relation with environmental pollution. The last improvements and optimizations of the car are conducted toward the increased performance and efficiency of the car’s operation. The opacity is one of the most important pollution aspects from compression ignited engines. Its effects on the environment are great and significant. It is also analyzed the ecological and dynamic design of the studied car. The present study makes a brief analyze of the available literature on the problem of emissions and consumption. The engine’s improvement and the optimization process should take into account the pollutant emissions and the real source. Last but not least there is a study of vehicle structure, of the common-rail injection system with specific devices for the pollutant emissions control on the investigated car. The paper also presents the applied or the practical part of the research work. In this part the most interesting aspect are the experimental data acquired during the practical measurements in operation, when it is managed the data package and the graphical representation of the results from Dacia Sandero 1.5 dCi engine. This was achieved by monitoring the variation of the exhaust opacity and the fuel consumption level in operating conditions. The study ends with conclusions, observations and predefined development directions.

Analyzing the available data from the powertrain on the digital displays and electronic scanners leads to the definition of economy strategies in vehicle exploitation.

The present scientific research develops a practical endeavor on the infotainment packages presented through graphical images and numerical data at on-board level in Mercedes E Class Coupe as a modern solution for vehicles. Analyzing the existing technological solution available on the upper level class of luxury cars may be facilitated improvement and optimization in the whole automotive sector.
Today automotive products are studied in order to improve their evolution and performance from state of the art to a better adapted version in the future production. That determines the designers and the researchers to combine all knowledge available in the science and data transfer.
The significance of researching the dash-board graphical representations is based on the necessity of adequate optimization of important data presentation and infotainment, which is handy for the occupants on board.

AT CONSTANT TEMPERATURE AND SPEED
The present experimental paper evaluates, with the latest applications in the field, the operational parameters regarding accelerator pedal position and voltage from its sensors. There are no studies related to this specific topic concerning the electronic diesel control and other operating parameters of the N47 engine in the BMW 320d known as model E90. Today are many similar vehicles on the roads in our country.
The load control influences the electronic diesel control module regarding the power, energy efficiency and pollution. Analysing the electronic control commands of the diesel engine from BMW offers a possibility to improve fuel economy, as well as other related performances.
This experimental research is conducted while testing the electronic accelerator through diesel control module to acquire practical data. The real values are recorded, on total range and then discussed upon.

The scientific paper realizes an applied research of the specifications and data available in graphic representation systems on-board in passenger compartment of the modern motor-vehicles. Analyzing the state of the art technologies available on the most advanced and up to date automotive products on the streets in order to better understand the evolution from what there was ten or fifteen years ago to what will be materialized in the near future allows the designer and the young researchers to improve their knowledge on the specific field. Importance for studying the on-board graphics consists in knowing how information versatility and availability is useful for the driver and passenger during the trip.
