OPTIMIZING THE ADMINISTRATION OF ELECTRICAL
ENERGY BY USING BUILDING MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
In order to efficiently manage the electrical energy consumption of the
buildings it is needed an intelligent system named Building Management
System (BMS), which can be structured on 4 levels: peripherals, input/output
modules, local stations, central management station. The local stations manage
the peripheral in their area and can communicate with other stations and with
the central one. The main modules of a BMS are: HVAC station, Chiller station,
Lighting (internal and external), Security, Elevators. The central management
station has a mainframe with add-on cards for communication with the local
stations and the peripherals. The software permits monitoring the power
distribution at all levels, and also changing the parameters for various system
components (pumps, ventilators, heating, chillers etc). All events must be
recorded in database and presented to the user when needed. Modern BMS
can also be controlled remotely (via Internet). Using a BMS for electrical energy
management can significantly decrease the energy consumption of a building.

NUMERIC CONTROL OF THE CONVENTIONAL
AND UNCONVENTIONAL ELECTRICAL
ENERGY SOURCES SYSTEMS
Here we try to find a compromise way of controlling a continuous
variable power system by adopting a hybrid architecture in which the renewable
energy sources are coupled with the classic power grid. In such an architecture,
a big issue is the control algorithm for management of the energy sources,
which had to be designed in such a way that the final consumer remain
powered on at all times. We proposed a control algorithm which compares the
input and output powers, if the input power is lower than the output, then the
batteries are charged, and in the reverse situation the power sources are
coupled gradually until the load demand is satisfied.

ADAPTIVE CONTROL OF GROUP CONTRIBUTIONS
ON DIESEL ENGINE-ELECTRIC GENERATOR FOR ENERGY
EFFICIENT BUILDING SUPPLY
In the present paper we studied the problematic regarding the engine
rotational speed variation due to load changes, in an original way by system
architecture and management. This poses difficulties in every energetic system,
especially when this contains sources with variable output power. We chose
architecture based on a numerical and analog controller. The base element of
execution is the generator’s engine, controlled by the injection pump, according
to network electrical load. We paid a special attention to these control loops
because of the central role played by the asynchronous generator in an
uninterruptible power system. The described control system can be
independent or it can be controlled by a microcontroller which decides the
prescribed value.

MODEL OF A STATIC SWITCH FOR ELECTRICAL SOURCES
WITHOUT INTERRUPTIONS IN LOAD SUPPLY
This paper presents a SIMULINK model of the static switch power supply
of a task without interrupting its supply. The model may be so fixed as to achieve
the power supply switching time less than 10ms. This algorithm is based on
identifying loss switching voltage on a circuit or decrease its peak below a certain
threshold. The model was designed to allow easy implementation using a system
based on a general purpose microcontroller with common resources, not from the
top.

Articolul prezintă un sistem de achiziţie şi de prelucrare pentru tensiuni
şi curenţi de la o rețea electrică de joasă tensiune, o structură dezvoltată pentru
a fi integrată într-un sistem complex de gestionare a energiei.
Pentru a asigura o flexibilitate sporită, sistemul este modular şi este complet
personalizabil de software. Toate componentele sunt module compatibile, toate
semnalele de intrare/ieşire sunt standardizate (0 .. 100V AC, 0 .. 5A AC şi 4 ..
20 mA – semnal unificat). Toate modulele sunt interschimbabile, tipul de
configuraţie de intrare se introduce uşor prin aplicarea interfaței prietenoase.
Sistemul constă dintr-un set de semnal, un card de achiziţie de date şi un
calculator personal. Toate conditionat au ieşire în semnal unificat, şi placa de
achiziţie de date comunică cu computerul prin intermediul unui port serial
(RS232 sau în cazul în care există un risc ridicat de interferenţă, RS485). Pe
PC-ul se execută o aplicaţie cu interfaţă prietenoasă, responsabil de
configurarea sistemului şi de stocare a datelor.
