VIBRATION DUE PORTABLE MACHINE-TOOLS
This paper is designed to be an information to the public about the
importance of portable machine-tool vibration action on the human body and
particularly on the hand-arm system.
The primary objective of the present paper is to show the effect of
whole-body vibration and identify those moderating variables that influence the
degree to which human performance is affected, and also to highlight a certain
amount of diseases caused by prolonged exposure to vibrations of portable
machine tools.

THEORETICAL STUDY ON THE APPLICABILITY OF
MECHANICAL IMPEDANCE
The present paper will be a presentation of the informations from
specialized literature and international standards about the importance of
mechanical impedance study for all structures including human body.
Exposure to harmful vibrations can lead to damages of the structures
and health problems or disorders that can appear at the human body.
The knowledge of the structures and human body mechanical
impedance is essential for realizing appropriate administrative, technical and
medical prevention measures.

EXPERIMENTAL STUDY OF THE VIBRATION ACTION
OF PORTABLE MACHINE TOOL ON
THE HUMAN HAND-ARM SYSTEM
This paper is an experimental study about the importance o vibration
action acting on the human operator. For this study were made a series of
measurements on different parts of the hand-arm system of a human operator.
Were measured the vibrations generated by a hammer drill operating both idle
or full load.
Conclusions reguarding this measurements were then generated and
the results are presented in the paper below.

A thorough knowledge of the undesirable effects of vibration on the
human body is essential for realizing appropriate administrative, technical and
medical prevention measures.
