This paper presents constructive solutions, advanced technologies
and specific facilities to achieve modern greenhouses for forced culture of
vegetables and flowers, which can be done both in the conventional system
(with soil) as well as unconventional system (without soil); presents natural
environmental factors and microclimate factors, knowing that the plants depend
on these factors, as well as outlines of resistance structures with related
closures.

Efficient and low consumption of energy is an important objective for
buildings, given that their consumption is less than 40 % of total EU energy
consumption, especially for heating, lighting and equipment. Therefore,
problems that range from materials extraction, land use and construction
materials industry standards, to a good breakdown of the outer envelope of the
building and use the facilities as energy efficient, must work together to to help
achieve energy efficient buildings.

A NEW TYPE OF AGRICULTURAL BUILDING
WITH DUAL FUNCTION
The current paper refers to agricultural buildings with a dual function,
on the ground floor an animal shelter, while on the first floor a a passive
greenhouse destined for seedlings, vegetables and flowers.
From a constructional point of view, the ground floor is constructed with
masonry load bearing walls and a frame made up of concrete prefabricated
elements (columns, beams and slab elements), while the first floor is based on
a modern variant, constructed with prefabricated columns and a spatial roof
structure made up of standard bars.
