32-82 VALORIFICAREA NĂMOLURILOR PROVENITE DE LA STAŢIILE DE TRATARE A APELOR UZATE DIN PERSPECTIVA ECONOMIEI CIRCULARE

SLUDGE VALORIZATION FROM WASTEWATER
TREATMENT PLANT TOWARDS A CIRCULAR ECONOMY
This study aimed to investigate the sludge removed from wastewater treatment plants and various modes of disposal as waste. One way of treating it as fertilizer on agricultural land use, its rich content in nutrients. So then it is necessary analysis and testing before use sludge future presentation. However, this method may be limited by the presence of heavy metals, pollutants microbiological agents, organic and inorganic contaminants. In this article, a variety of sampling analysis, pre-treatment, extraction and methods have been reviewed. Therefore, we consider that an important part of treatment of sludge prior to disposal is the separation of water and sludge volume reduction.

32-80 METODE ȘI TEHNOLOGII ECO-INOVATIVE PENTRU REDUCEREA ȘI RECICLAREA POLUANȚILOR ORGANICI PERSISTENȚI DIN MEDIUL ÎNCONJURĂTOR – Prezentare Generală

ECO-INNOVATIVE METHODS AND TECHNOLOGIES FOR REDUCING AND RECYCLING OF PERSISTENT ORGANIC POLLUTANTS FROM ENVIRONMENT-AN OVERVIEW
The most toxic pollutants in the environment that originated from human activities are the Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) which are chemicals that accumulate and persist in the environment through the trophic web causing negative effects to human and environment health. POPs present a high risk because of their capacity to be transported across the borders affecting even regions where they have never been used or produced. This article presents a general description of the persistent organic pollutants and their level at the UE level and aim to revise the best available methods and technologies utilized in reducing POPs, along with their advantages and disadvantages. The flux of the persistent organic pollutants in the environment is also outlined with the purpose to identify the low spots that need to be addressed.

32-76 ASPECTE PRIVIND EFECTELE POLUĂRII AUTOVEHICULELOR ASUPRA MEDIULUI ÎNCONJURĂTOR – Studiu de caz

ASPECTS WITH REGARD TO THE EFFECTS OF MOTOR VEHICLE ENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTION – A case study
Pollution can be considered a major assault on the environment caused by modern man. Air pollution caused by industrial activities and road traffic has a significant impact on the health of the population, especially on those who are living in urban areas, more exactly for 80% of Europeans. It involves the emanation of organisms, which release harmful substances into the atmosphere. The amount of pollutants emitted into the air we breathe was greatly reduced once the EU has introduced policies and measures addressing air quality in the 1970s. Design and implementation of policies to address this complexity is not an easy task.

31-21 O ALTERNATIVĂ EFICIENTĂ A ECONOMIEI LINIARE: ECONOMIA CIRCULARĂ

AN EFFECTIVE ALTERNATIVE TO LINEAR ECONOMY: CIRCULAR ECONOMY

According to previous European Commissioner for Environment- Janez Potocnick, “Improving our economic well-being and also to our environment was once considered the solution taking into account all aspects of the problem. Now this is called circular economy”. Nowadays, our model of mass production and consumption challenge in a dangerous limits and resources of the world and threatens the sustainability and stability through the prism of our own future as population. The economic factor of consumption based on the phrase “buy-use-throw“, which implies the existence of large quantities of raw materials, cheap and readily available, is about to reach its physical limits of sustainability. Circular economy appears to be an attractive alternative and viable, so large international companies, and also large organizations and interstate forums have already begun to consider and explore the concept.
