ASPECTS RELATING CHEMICAL FERTILIZERS
IMPACT ON SOIL
Chemical fertilizers are frequently used in agriculture for increasing agricultural outputs. Incorrect handling can cause soil pollution and damage to surface waters. The paper provides a series of chemical fertilizers examples used frequently in Romania. Furthermore the paper is showing an analysis on their impact on soil and water. A series of determinations were made for revealing their presence and their provenance. In this regard the paper is proposing to carry out a data base for revealing information about: identification, implementation and evaluation of risk assessment on soil caused by certain pollutants (heavy metals, nitrides).

OF BIODIVERSITY IN THE AREA OF THE RIVER BARZAVA
This paper presents the main features of biodiversity in the area
Bârzava evil. In several field campaigns were studied both vegetation and
fauna. The result of this research revealed that extibde always cultivated areas,
which negatively affects biodiversity.

ADVANCED METHODS OF SEWAGE SLUDGE
ORGANIC WASTE WATER
In wastewater of Urban can be found in large quantities of organic
substances. The elimination of such substances through the advanced
treatment is a trend at world level, for comply with legislation concerning the
protection of waters to the surface. Organic cleaning aerobic and anaerobic can
be a solution for the protection of the environment. Biological processes are
among the most widespread and applied for the treatment of organic residues
of biodegradable films. It is based on the activity of micro-organisms of different
types (mainly bacteria) oriented toward the destruction of organic compounds.
Biological processes of sewage sludge residues, that in principle, are fully
similar to those of sewage sludge organic hydric bodies.

RED IMPACT FROM SLUDGE PROCESS FOR THE
PRODUCTION OF ENVIRONMENTAL ALUMINEI Red sludge is a waste resulting from the Bayer process of refining bauxite to produce alumina. Red sludge is a waste strongly alkaline due to NaOH. Its composition depends on a number of factors but essentially the composition of the bauxite. Everything depends on the composition and quantity of bauxite red mud result: between 0.33 to 2 tons of red mud per tons of alumina produced or 0.4-2 tons of red mud per tons of alumina produced. The main environmental issue out of the sheer amount of red sludge produced is alkalinity. In paper presents analysis of the composition of this material particularly as regards the possibility of environmental pollution. Another factor that is useful to know in terms of environmental impact, especially in case of accidents knows the amount of acid required to bring the pH to a particular environmental acceptable values.

suspension in atmosphere for Cluj-Napoca city. It shows the sampling method
and ways how to choose areas depending on the nature of traffic sampling. It
shows the equipment used in measurements.

AIR QUALITY IN CLUJ-NAPOCA CITY
This paper presents a series analysis of pollutants from urban
environment, respective to Cluj-Napoca city. It insisted on greenhouse
gas, gas that generates acid rain, as well as particulate matters.
Measurement were analysed and centralized to see in time the
evolution of these emissions.

WATER QUALITY-DETERMINATION OF
THE BABADAG LAKE ECOSYSTEM
Black Danube is declared the biggest natural reservation from Europe.
Due to the fact that Danube river is a water collector in Europe, it flows all the
impurities and pollutants that people discharge into rivers, which are affluent of
Danube. The present study is a warning against water pollution in the Danube
Delta, pollution that may affect biodiversity.
