THE COMPRESION TEST OF THE BEARING BALLS
The compression test of the bearing balls is not included in the category of classic methods this is regulated by normative like (STAS or ISO). They appear as a necessity where developed and manufactured various kinds of bearings. In this perspective the paper presents the concept of a specialized device for applying a compressive force to the bearing balls of different sizes, and some half-ball.
This makes it possible experimental research of the state of stress and strain that occurs in ball bearing in compression during operation using various methods like: electric resistive strain and/or photo elasticity (fotostress).

The objective of this work is to make a comparison, in terms of analysing the State of tension and deformations arising as a result of simulations with a palette that the MEF consists of a turbine rotor for very low-power (8.25 kW)between the results obtained with the Stress Analysis of the program Autodesk Inventor Professional 2011 and with Solid Works program SimulationXpress 2011 Premium.

In this paper are presented the results of CFD simulations performed
on turbine named HYE 10, made at the S.C. Hydro Engineering SA Resita. The
cross-flow turbine equips a micro-hydro power unit with 8.25 kW calculated
hydraulic power.

This paper presents the behaviour of a micro-hydro unit equipped with a
small cross-flow turbine (turbine calculated power is lass than PT=10 kW),
depending on the opening angle of the guiding paddle, at same amount of
water falling height. The tests and measurements were made at Hydro
Engineering SA Reşiţa hydraulic laboratories, with specialized equipment.

This second paper presents the behaviour of a micro hydro unit
equipped with a small cross-flow turbine, depending on the height of fall of
water, at various opening angle of the guiding paddle. The tests and
measurements (as in the previously case) were made at Hydro Engineering SA
Reşiţa hydraulic laboratories, for several values of the height of fall of water.
