THERMAL REHABILITATION OF COLLECTIVE DWELLINGS –
PRESENT AND FUTURE DEVELOPMENTS
This paper makes an analysis over the thermal rehabilitation process
in Romania taking in consideration existing and future developments. Today’s
national financing programs do not offer a sustainable answer to the CO2
emission reduction goal due to the fact that this is a punctual solution and offer
small improvement for interior comfort of dwellings and energy savings.

REHABILITATION MEASURES FOR COLLECTIVE DWELLINGS – T770 MODEL
In this work are presented the measures needed to obtain a complete rehabilitation of collective dwellings constructed between 1978 until 1989. For a complete rehabilitation it is necessary to take into account the following measures: thermal rehabilitation of the envelope, replacement of all internal installations and equipment, upgrade of heating system, the introduction of a new staircase in order to accommodate an elevator and the integration of a multifunctional space on the terrace of the last level.

Following the RETROFIX rehabilitation measures, the comparison study between classic thermal rehabilitation and RETROFIX systems on the economic viability shows that, if you invest more money in superior efficiency system, you can obtain relatively good savings on energy.
