ANALYZE OF THE PRACTICAL ASPECTS CONCERNING THE ENERGETIC MANAGEMENT IN THE CASE OF SPECIFIC SIMPTOMS FOR THE START
SYSTEM FROM TOYOTA AVENSIS
The present paper presents in known technical terms and methods from practical operations the problematic aspects concerning the energy supply to the start system from Toyota Avensis 1.6 MPI car. After a period of optimal functionality, the start system shows signs of bad operation and some symptoms occur which lead to the questioning of the electric energy management regarding the starting procedure. The worst situation is if the thermal engine suddenly stops in the street and after this there is no possibility to restart it in that moment. First the battery is replaced just to make sure there is enough energy supply. But the problem reappears. Analysing the power supply system allows us to get the insight of the procedure and also to develop a strategy in solving the problem by studying the specific symptoms. The present paper aims the goal of outlining the symptoms and problematic aspects related to the energy management in the start system of Toyota Avensis.

EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCH OF SEMIOZIC ASPECTS OF THE POWER-TRAIN SYSTEM FROM OPEL ASTRA G
The experimental research work presents the steps and important readings in diagnosis of the energy supply system of the 1.6 gasoline engine from Opel Astra G. Electrical systems are friendly to use and offer a high comfort when they work properly, but when are broken a lot of problems and discomfort appears. The present case consists in solving or discovering the main problem of the system because the engine will not start normally but very difficult. The analyzed car had some difficulties with the electric system (when turning on the engine), rotation would appear but no consistent working. Some faults were highlighted but ”engine starting” still was difficult to be done properly. The semiotic aspects were managed and the electrical system was closely scanned in order to perfectly define the errors.

EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCH OF THE ON-BOARD
GRAPHIC-DIGITAL REPRESENTATION OF ECONOMICAL-ENERGETICAL MANAGEMENT REGARDING THE HIDROCARBONS CONSUMPTION AT TOYOTA AVENSIS
The present paper shows in usual technical terms and specifications from practical testing the significant aspects concerning the consumption and energetic management from Toyota Avensis 1.6 MPI 2003 model year. After operating in mixt driving conditions both urban and extra-urban cycles the data was collected concerning the distance of travel, mileage, average fuel medium consumption and momentary fuel consumption.
Also was recorded even vehicle’s average traveling speed. Analysing the obtain and recorded data by the management system for fuel supply and from on-board graphical-digital display units and equipment there have been possible to determine even the carbon foot print by three distinct methods.
The tolerance between all three methods of carbon foot print determinations ranged from 1.5 % to approximately 60% due to the fact that the worst case scenario was calculated on the assumption all the fuel turned in CO2 (which is not a feasible idea).

RESEARCH OF WEAR CAUSING FACTORS AND LUBRICANT CHARACTERISTICS IN CASE OF BIO-FUEL SUPPLY TO THE AGRICULTURE MACHINE’S ENGINE
Lubricants and fuels are used in over a billion machines. All of them are used in different operating regimes. Because the viscosity and density of engine’s fluids are different in each case, operating conditions are significantly changed. This idea underlines the specific engine operating conditions when performing actual tasks in agriculture. The fuel-lubricant interaction study leads to solutions regarding the wear problem. Experiments show the problems and also the optimal solutions. Agricultural machine lubrication takes part in determining the reliability and durability. Biofuel-adds in commercial fuel is now common practice and an actual task on agricultural engineering is machines life span. Biodiesel may be used alone or in mixtures with other fuels, either fossil diesel or alternative solutions. The content of biodiesel in commercial fuels throughout the European Union is under 15 percent, but it is supposed to increase toward 20 percent. So, we have to analyse the influence that biodiesel has in lubrication and in component wear. In this study were developed experiments concerning the biofuel use and influence on lubricants in various situations, determined by complex analyse of available data from applied research. There were changes in carbon deposits and quality of lubrication. Biodiesel influenced the lubricant composition.

RESEARCH OF THE ENERGETIC POTENTIAL OF FATI
ACIDS FROM OILS AND OTHER SOURCES FOR
MODERN UTILITARY APPLICATIONS
The present research points out, in specific technical concepts and strategies from engineering expertise, the problematic aspects concerning the use of fatty acids as energy source in some cases when it is not indicated and even a bad idea. After analysing thoroughly Gary Yourofsky’s lectures and essays regarding his views on various important topics we have initiated a study concerning fatty acids as sources for energy. Having an expertise in industrial type of oils use we could expand the interdisciplinary study after considering Gary’s ideas in a cross referencing approach with results of Dr. John Mcdougall, Dr. Collin Campbell, Dr. Neal Barnard, Dr. Joel Kahn, Dr. Nick Delgado, Dr. Michael Klapper, Dr. Garth Davis, Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn, Dr. Michael Greger. The fatty acids are some of the most important sources of energy on our planet, especially when they are used as fuel for multiple existing thermal machines. In our laboratory we use oils for Diesel engines as fuel or as an insulator for energy convertors, as well as lubricant or as transmission fluid. By a chemical process of trans-esterification oils are transformed in biodiesel. Link between machinery use of fatty acids and human use as food is important to be considered. In this paper are synthesized some of the data acquired till this moment regarding the energy potential of fatty acids for modern applications. Between food use of oils and fuel for combustion processes, as well as insulator or hydraulic fluid, there is a lot of consideration to be made.

EXPERIMENTAL STUDY OF THE POSSIBILITY OF INCREASING ENERGY EFICIENCY THROUGH THE CONTROL OF FRICTION IN ROLLER BEARINGS
OF THE WHEEL TRAIN FROM DACIA SOLENZA
The present study shows in known technical concepts and methods from experimental testing the problematic aspects concerning the friction in wheel train from Dacia Solenza 1.4 MPI car. After symptoms appearance with noises when cornering at some speeds the diagnostic procedure was applied and the wheel bearings with increased wear level were detected and changed. The worst case scenario is when the wheel bearing is so advanced in degradation than stops the wheel from turning leading to higher damages of the wheel train of the vehicle. Analysing the situation in the present case it was outlined that after some kilometres travelled in various conditions and monitoring the noise emission and type of vibration with decibel meter microphone and stethoscopes rear wheel has problems. The development of present paper shows the simplified procedure of replacing the wheel bearing on vehicle Dacia Solenza. First is a theoretical description of the problematic situation and there are located the wheel bearings in general terms and then there are presented the main components of the wheel train. Finally there is a short description of the simplified method for the wheel bearing exchange on the studied vehicle.

APPLIED STUDY ON TECHNOLOGICAL PHASES OF REPAIRING AND PRECLUDING OF SOME SIMPTOMATIC ASPECTS IN THE CASE OF HYDRAULIC BRAKING SYSTEM FROM DACIA SOLENZA
The present applied study highlights, in usual technical terms and strategies from practical expertize, the problematic aspects concerning the brake friction in operating surfaces of drum and brake shoes from Dacia Solenza. After a period of testing, inspecting and diagnosing the noise and operational behavior an applied endeavor was initiated. This was the initiating point for the present experimental study in order to manage the data and to record a contribution to practical experience. The braking system is one of the most important safety systems on the vehicle especially in relation with the steering system. Its performance and predictable operation is the basis of every safe journey and transports of material goods. Occasionally it is going not so well or as expected and during these periods of time it makes the ride unpleasant and unsafe. There is a know-how needed in order to preclude these problematic aspects in operation and to restore the safety level to acceptable. In this paper is synthesized the applied part of brake study and repair process in the case of Dacia Solenza.

ANALYZIS THROUGH TESTING OF SUSPENSION’S HARSHNESS WITH HELICAL SPRINGS AND HYDRAULIC DAMPERS IN THE CASE OF BMW E46 318D 115 HP 265 Nm LIMOUSINE MOTOR VEHICLE ON A ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED TEST BENCH
The present research work highlights the measurements made on suspension, vibrations and harshness aspects on BMW E46 318D vehicle limousine using an electronically controlled test bed. Many companies and laboratories seek pragmatically directed research in automotive fields and knowing such thing here is developed an experimental study on a real street car. In this case it is analyzed the behavior of suspension system concerning harshness, showing that the mass placement influences the suspension system behavior.
The problem of suspension influences is a serious one and the objective of the present study is to gain results and an insight of the oscillations damping process. The research methodology and specific objectives are oriented to bring the specific parameters and the research goal to open access.

Economic units and workshops look positively toward utilitarian directed research from applied modules and academic activities (especially in automotive fields). Thus is the case with the characteristics of suspension system’s harshness when comes to the motor vehicles, specifically the BMW. Taking the problem seriously the aim of the present research paper and the targeted system is suspension and its harshness when tested in a specialized workshop. The research method and specific objectives are directed to reach these specific goals and the study expectations from academic community.

EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCH CONCERNING
DIAGNOSIS OF 1.0 i ENGINE FROM OPEL AGILA
The research paper makes an endeavor in applied part of the protocol for testing oxygen sensor strategies in the auxiliary system of 1.0 i engine from Opel Agila. Spark ignited engines are more likely to be seen on the roads event in the following years due to their compact size and versatility. They are very appealing due to their simplicity and easy to use. They are also cheaper than diesel engines and less pollutant when it comes to evaluate particles and smoke. The studied vehicle had some problems with the oxygen sensor. It was replaced but ”check engine” light on-board still turns on. The problem was defined and the electrical circuit inspected and the fault terminated successfully.

CONTRIBUTIONS TO DIAGNOSIS OF SPARK IGNITED ENGINE OF 75 KW E36 FROM BMW 316i
The present experimental research shows methods and engineering aspects concerning measuring the load signal and throttle valve operation in a diagnosis procedure for determining the problem of engine speed oscillation. Throttle valve potentiometer signal can be a proper technical data determined for operational diagnosis of the engine in some cases. That is why in this experimental paper it was experimentally determined in order to make a proper interpretation of the errors and technical problems which led to engine speed oscillation and incorrect operation. The motor vehicle was brought into the diagnosis laboratory and it was properly inspected for electric and electronic faults by using KTS and other digital equipment. In particular it was studied the oxygen sensor operation, the air mass flow meter and the throttle valve actuator (by measuring its voltage on the inherent potentiometer). The electrical schematic was also studied in order to locate the important components.

EXPERIMENTAL CONTRIBUTIONS TO DIAGNOSIS
OF 1.9 TDI ENGINE FROM VW VENTO
The present paper offers an experimental contribution to the research of methods and strategies concerning the fuel consumption and injected quantity in the case of 1.9 TDI engine from VW Vento. It is an opportunity to study and document some aspects regarding the fuel quantity injected and how it may be optimized in experimental conditions in order to reach lower specific consumption, improved engine energy efficiency and even lower pollution. In the present paper is shown that the small intervention on the fuel injection pump may offer a significant change in spray quantity and further more influencing the overall consumption and efficiency. Finally the engine was optimized and the fuel injected quantity correlated with the operating regime in order to improve operational efficiency.

The experimental research paper shows the elements and important values in applied study of the injection system testing in the case of 1.5 dCi engine from Dacia Logan. Compression ignited engines are more economically efficient due to their higher compression ratio and injection procedure. They are very attractive due to their fuel efficiency. They are also more expensive than gasoline engines and more pollutant concerning the particles and exhausted smoke. The monitored car had some problems with the injection system (control unit, high pressure pump and injectors). Some components were replaced but ”on-board light” still turns on from time to time indicating errors in injection assembly. The symptoms were grouped and the electrical circuit closely inspected and the faults were repeatedly identified.

CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE RESEARCH OF INSPECTION PROCEDURE FOR THE COMMON-RAIL INJECTORS IN THE CASE OF 1.8 TDCI ENGINE FROM FORD FOCUS
The present research work develops a practical procedure of inspection sequence for the case of injectors and injection system as a whole to sketch the important steps required. Construction and operational analyze is also important as well as engine control parameters, main injection, temperature and symptomatic behavior, in specific conditions, but here it’s most highlighted the inspection procedure. By using injector monitoring equipment connected to the electronic control unit of the engine via digital interface. Thus are pointed out the fuel amount, fuel pressure and the injector behavior from the Ford Focus engine (1.8 TDCi Turnier/DNW/85.0 kW) with common-rail injection system. Significance and opportunity for inspecting the injectors from Ford Focus 1.8 TDCI is based on recurrence of the symptoms regarding power loss and engine problems in operation. Realizing the present paper leads to a goal of highlighting a problem related to the fuel system components as injectors from the common-rail compression ignited engine in particular working conditions.

CONTRIBUTIONS TO APPLIED RESEARCH OF THE START SYSTEM FROM DACIA LOGAN IN ORDER TO OUTLINE
THE SIMPTOMATIC ASPECTS
The present study outlines the problems which may appear with the starter system in the case of vehicles in exploitation. After many starting procedures the starter motor wear out and doesn’t work properly, making the vehicle use and pre-operation sequences more and more difficult. The worst case scenario is when starter stops suddenly in the middle of a junction without symptoms and as an aggravating aspect with impossibility to restart immediately. Analyzing the starting system and complex assembly of components allows the engineers to obtain some significant knowledge in the intricate character of optimal functionality in order to develop proper know-how and skills in repairing the system or solving the problem once it has appeared. The development of present work has the purpose to define the starting system and the methods for saving energy and time in the process of application or switching the engine’s turn on procedures. The paper experimental part points out some of the significant symptoms and problems related to the electric starter motor and internal combustion engine starting system on Dacia Logan sedan.

Designing and testing the coupling solution of a trailer at the hook of utility all terrain vehicle CF MOTO 500-2A
All-Terrain Vehicles are today quite popular and often known both as entertaining systems as well as utility equipment. The scientific paper shows a small contribution to the design and implementation of a practical solution for coupling the trailer to the ATV tow. There was used a dynamometric sensor in order to measure the inertial forces during braking process in various conditions of driving the ATV CF MOTO 500-2A, considering all the time accelerating and decelerating manoeuvres in the case of trailer towing, when a traction mass is placed on the vehicle’s hook, due to the attached trailer. The importance of studying the kinematic and dynamic aspects of ATV’s driving process resides in significance that the trailer inertia force has on the road train during some driving manoeuvres of cornering, decelerating and accelerating.

Contributions to the experimental research of ELECTRONIC DIESEL CONTROL (EDC) MODULe operation in relation with supply of the n47 engine from BMW 320d (e90) automobile
The present scientific paper analyzes through latest technologies in the field the operation parameters obtained in practical measurements. There are few detailed studies related to the problem of the electronic diesel control operating parameters of the N47 engine in the model E90, also known as BMW 320d on the available international data bases. There are many such vehicles on the roads in EU, and USA. The electronic diesel control module has a significant influence on the eco-performances (fuel efficiency and carbon-foot-print). Testing the electronic control systems on BMW diesel engines offers solutions and important ideas for optimizing their environmental pollution and fuel savings, while the operation will not be influenced. This paper is developed by testing the electronic diesel control system in order to gain an insight in its operation. The actual values are captured, close analyzed and interpreted.

Contributions to experimental research OF technical state of suspension and of its influence upon confort and adherence to the road surface for opel corsa vehicle
The experimental work presented in this paper shows some of the achievements during practical testing of the suspension system and wheel train in order to gain information on their influence upon adherence or road contact stability. The experimental tests were conducted in order to point out the influence of suspension springs, tires and dampers on the adherence and road contact between tires and sustaining surface. There were examined the weight axle and suspension efficiency on each wheel of the vehicle during vibration of the testing plates. In the experimental work are also specified the main vehicle components and the suspension test-bed infrastructure in order to gain further more quality and definition of the practical procedure. The opportunity and main significance of testing the suspension quality at different vibration frequencies and for each wheel of the two vehicle’s axles in order to point out adherence level is based on the capacity of test-bed and on the importance of vibration influences in vehicle’s over-all performance.

EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCHES CONCERNING THE CLOGGING level OF DIESEL PARTICLE

This experimental research paper is pointing out the main ideas of a practical test concerning clogging degree of the diesel particle filter from gas exhaust system, in operation mode, with engine scanner and data processing devices connected to on board diagnosis module. Knowledge concerning the after-treatment processes of exhausted emissions from an internal combustion engine is extremely valuable in configuring a strategy for harmonious and sustainable living on the planet Earth. The main concept of present paper aims to the process of monitoring and measurement of parameters defining the clogging degree of a specific diesel particle filter from k9k892 euro 5 compression ignited engine with displacement capacity of 1.5 liters. The experimental determinations are developed in real time and after a medium operation interval – specifically which is 45000 km on the roads.

contributions to the EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCH OF INJECTION FUEL SUPPLY SYSTEM FROM 3.0i ENGINE OF BMW X 5 ROAD VEHICLES
This scientific article shows the results of multiple experimental tests and researches made on the basis of fuel injection process during different operating regimes. Measured parameters are in this case engine speed, fuel consumption, injection timing and engine temperature.
The main objective of these tests is to determine how fuel consumption is influenced by engine speed and engine coolant temperature if the vehicle is operating in neutral gear that means the engine has no load on the crankshaft. In this case the engine speed will be correlated with the accelerating pedal position. The road vehicle on which the tests will be conducted is BMW X5 3.0i model years 2002. There aren’t any detailed studies made on this model. It is a well-known that a considerable number of such vehicles are registered in our country. Besides this body type, BMW Factory equipped other vehicles with this engine.
The experimental tests offer engineers a better understanding of injection process and fuel economy in the case of conventional fuel supply systems. The experimental data are summarized and accurately analyzed and represented.

Study of the semiologic aspects concerning the hidraulics of the injection system in diagnosing 1.8 TDCI engine from Ford Focus
The present paper develops an applied study of the diagnosing aspects of the injection system behaviour and component analyse as well as engine management parameters, injection quantity, fuel temperature and non-operational behaviour, in different testing situations, with engine scanning equipment connected to the electronic control module via on board connection. Here are highlighted the injection system and the injector for diesel fuel supply of the Ford Focus engine (1.8 TDCi Turnier/DNW/85.0 kW).
Importance for testing the injection system of the Ford Focus engine comes from the numerous vehicles that manifest the symptoms of misfiring, engine-stop, and other problems in operation. The development of present paper aims toward the goal of outlining the problem related to the fuel supply system and injectors of the compression ignited engine in some specific testing situations.

designing and realizing a THERMAL MEASUREMENT AND MANAGEMENT SOLUTION in machines power-train FOR MODERN AGRICULTURE EMBEDDED TECHNOLOGIES
The present scientific paper develops an experimental research concerning the exhaust system behaviour and temperature analyse as well as a simulation model, fuel consumption, and other parameters in different testing conditions on a laboratory test-bed.
There are highlighted the possibilities of clogging the exhaust system, by introducing a flaps in the exhaust-pipe slot (specially created for this purpose). Importance and opportunity for researching and testing the exhaust system of the Lombardini compression ignited engine comes from the numerous specific applications that manifest the symptoms of clogging, engine-low performance, and other diminished performances in operation.
The main objective of this paper consists in outlining the problem related to the exhaust system clogging and energetic-ecologic-economic performances of the compression ignited engine in laboratory testing situations.

analizing a THERMAL MANAGEMENT SOLUTION of engine as EMBEDDED TECHNOLOGy in rally vehicles
The present scientific paper develops an applied research of the thermal management aspects in the engine operational behavior and a graphic analyze of the real time measurements. Engine management parameters were recorded during rally competition, as well as injection duty, air temperature and other-operational behavior, in different running situations, with engine monitoring equipment connected to the electronic control unite via wire connection. Here are highlighted the thermal management system and the injector duty cycle, fuel supply and the ignition angle of the motor-sport vehicle (Mitsubishi Lancer in 2011). Importance for testing the engine systems of the Mitsubishi Lancer comes from the numerous rally vehicles that are in such competitions, and interest in understanding them. The development of present work aims toward the goal of outlining the aspects related to the thermal management and fuel supply systems and their relation with ignition control in some specific operating situations.

designing and testing a system for THERMAL-hydro-energetic conversion of flamable waste FOR a 200 square meters building
The present work develops an applied design of the thermal, hydraulic and fuel storage components of the waste materials energetic-conversion system. Behavior and operational analyze as well as combustion management parameters, fuel quantity, water temperature and problematic behavior, in different testing situations, with temperature scanning equipment connected to the analogic control module via thermostats. Here are outlined the waste combustion system and the primitive method of fuel supply in the case of first design, as well as the possibilities for improvement and automation. Importance for testing the waste energetic conversion system consists in the fact that there are a multitude of flammable waste materials that should be disposed. Garbage waste is so high-level that nowadays humanity does not know what to do with it. The development of present paper aims toward the goal of outlining the problem related to the fuel supply system and the pollution of the first design, as well as to the possibility of installing particle filters and catalyst in order to gain an after-treatment gas-control.
