Le travail présente les principaux types d’usures qui apparaissent aux
pompes des machines pour la protection des plantes. Pendant le
fonctionnement d’un système technique, apparaissent des usures, dues aux
frictions et aux agréssions physique et/ou chimiques, usures qui modiffient
géométriquement, dimensionnellle et structurale, les qualités fontionnelles du
système. Les usures bessent les performances fonctionnelles du mécanisme.
La connaissance de la spécificité et des limites de ces usures, dans des
conditions complèxes où elles se passent, a un caractère empirique. Celle-ci
impliquent une observation attentive de tous les zones et de tous les types
d’usures, qui, dans le cas des pompes des machines pour les travaux pour la
protection des plantes, sont influencées différamment par l’agressivité chimique
des substances pompées. L’optimisation de la relation prix de revient-sécurité
en fonctionnement (fiabilité et maintenence) amène a un degré elevé
d’utilisation des pompes à membrane, avec le maintien constant des
paramètres de fontionnement, qui peut se faire seulement par des essais
complexes, dans des différentes conditions de matériau et d’environnement.

L’article présente des considérations sur l’usure d’abrasion, avec
référence aux pompes des machines pour la protection des plantes. Pendant le
fonctionnement des pièces ou des systèmes mécaniques complexes apparaît
la modification des dimensions et de la qualité des surfaces en contact par
l’intervention des substances chimiques pompées, ce qui amène, assez
souvent, au blocage, par apparition de l’usure d’abrasion. On donne aussi la loi
d’usure d’abrasion et quelques considérations sur le coefficient d’usure
d’abrasion.

In this paper is presented the bicycle-automobile’s frontal collision
case, study in which were taken in consideration four comparison cases of the
bicycle’s and/or biker’s throw distance related with the collision speed after
different criterions (at minimum/medium/maximum collision speed; between the
bikers’ sexes; related to the bikers’ age; related with the bicycle’s types). The
bicycles’ and bikes’ masses were considered having medium values, not being
treated particular cases from this point of view.

The paper presents a physical model of a passenger hold by the
seatbelt. Based on this model one calculates the total movement of the
passenger during the accident, the passenger’s movement at constant speed,
his deceleration to maximal and minimal values; the passenger’s movement
related to time and the safe values of the required displacement of his chest in
case of accidents at different collision speed and also the chest movement in
the car’s habitat in order to be safe in case of accident.

This document outlines the application of the time-of-flight diffraction
(TOFD) technique and/or Phased array technology for the semi-, or fully
automated ultrasonic testing of welded joints in metallic materials equal to and
above 6 mm thickness as per ISO 10863/2011. The semi or fully automated
ultrasonic testing shall be in accordance with ASME Section V, article 4 (Article
4 is a compendium of Appendixes describing the weld examination using the
Time of Flight Diffraction (TOFD) technique. Other standards describing the

Today the world is put in issue capitalizing particularly by recycling
powder waste generated in steel industries, suggesting the whole concept of
recycling them.
These powdery waste have raised issues of recovery due to
unsatisfactory grain size composition and because the content of heavy metals.
Waste powder used in experiments in this paper has undergone the process of
pelleting, followed by a hardening of these pellets respecting a diagram of
hardening. Results of the experiments were processed in Excel, resulting in a
series of graphical and analytical correlations presented for each variant.

In order to estimate proper metallic charge for electrical arc furnace it
was necessary to evaluate iron content in skull delivered from slag dump by
two processors (A and B)
First off all it was necessary to know if the skull from both areas has
the same content or different. Second we had to know histogram for minimum
and maxim values.
As it was taken the decision to include in metallic charge 14 % of skull
(increasing total charge with 2,8 %) with evident economical positive result –
price of scrap is 5 times higher than skull.

In the article is analyzed a vapour-compression refrigeration system
using R12 refrigerant. With experimental values of the evaporating and
condensing temperatures and using the Cool Pack program, the system
performance may be evaluated. Thermodynamic performance of a refrigeration
system is defined by evaluating the cooling efficiency, which permit the
quantitative assessment of heat losses, qualitatively described by the second
principle of thermodynamics.

The present paper is focused on the hardness of iron powder DWP
400 parts sintered in endogas. The effect of sintering parameters is studied.
There were prepared cylindrical specimens pressed at 600 MPa and sintered in
endogas at the temperature of 1120 0C and 900 0C for 30/60 minutes. Sintered
specimens were analyzed by optical microscopy, micro-hardness test and
macrohardness measurements. Increasing the temperature and duration of
sintering leads to a linear increase of hardness of specimens, influencing
strongly the density and the microstructure.

Using milled Fe-Cr powder and introducing on these powders a small
amount of Co or Al powder, nanostructure alloys were obtained. Using X-ray
diffraction it was determined the crystallite size and the internal stress.
Williamson-Hall method was used for the crystallite size calculations. The
measurements were performed on a DRON 3 diffract meter and the data
acquisitions were performed using MATMEC IV software.

22-34 ASPECTE STRUCTURALE ALE AMESTECURILOR PULVERULENTE Fe60Ni40, Fe50Ni50, Fe40Ni60 SUPUSE ALIERII MECANICE

The mechanical alloying experiments were performed on a high
energy planetary ball mill. Four vials were used for powder mixtures milling.
The milling charge contains 46 steel balls having 15 mm average diameter and
100 g powder mixture. It corresponds to a charge level of ½ of the vial volume
and represents a 8:1 ball/powder ratio. The powder mixtures: Fe60Ni40, Fe50Ni50,
Fe40Ni60, were milled for 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 48 şi 64 hours. At each milling time
were taken samples for analysis (5 grams). The X-ray diffraction analysis
reveals that after 8 hours of milling the Fe peaks disappear and the Ni phase is
featured in all powder mass. The calculated crystal parameters prove that the
mechanical alloying process induces Ni structure for all powder mixtures after 8
hours of milling resulting a substitution solid solution where some Ni atoms
were replaced with Fe ones.

The successful application of microalloying technique, used in the
HSLA steels elaboration by classical metallurgy, to the sintered structural steels
in order to improve their mechanical properties is determined, to a great extent,
by the homogeneity of Fe-microalloying element (Nb, Ti, or V) powder mixtures.
Therefore, its evaluation is of the maximum importance in the elaboration
process control in order to obtain the desired strengthening effect. The
possibility of application, for this purpose, of the statistical and experimental
method, respectively, is analyzed in this paper, with the reference to Fe-Nb, Fe-
Ti and Fe-V powder mixtures. Conclusions on factors affecting the homogeneity
degree, of practical applicability, are drawn on this basis.

In industrial environments it is necessary to recognize, evaluation and
control of working places and working stations, as well as occupational groups
with exposure to noise. Therefore, this paper describe the noise effects on
hearing quality and an estimation method of noise – induced hearing
impairment. Using this method is made a comparative study of the noise
induced permanent threshold shift depending on the noise exposure level and
duration by various frequencies between 500 – 6000 Hz.

This paper is a survey of the literature on gear vibration and is
designed to offer a better understanding of the need for predictive maintenance
for safe operation of machine-tools and minimizing idle time and reducing repair
costs. The ultimate goal of predictive maintenance is the implementation of
maintenance works „when appropriate” before the equipment is damaged
during the operation. Main failure in a gear couple of a simple gearbox, are
defects on all teeth and defects localized only on a group of teeth. These
defects can be partitioned defects or localized defects.

22-26 ABSORBŢIA SONORĂ A MATERIALELOR DIN AŞCHII DE LEMN CIMENTATE

This paper presents sound absorption measurements for a cemented
wood-fibber material. An acoustical model is presented in order to determine
physical properties like porosity, airflow resistivity and tortuosity. An inverse
acoustical characterization is used by best-fitting the model function to the
experimental data with the least squares method. The inversion method
contains an optimization process and hence it is verified that the optimal
unknown parameters, even though derived from a mathematical optimum for a
given experimental configuration (sample’s thickness, measured frequency
range), are the intrinsic properties of the characterized porous material.

The paper presents a graphical method for the simultaneous
determination of thickness and optical constants of a superficial, optically
absorbent film. The data used have been obtained by ellipsometrical
measurements of a superficial layer of uneven thickness at several points.
The thickness and optical constants are determined for PMMA films
deposited on a copper surface highly polished.

Earthquake isolation systems are devices located at the base of
overhead structures (civil works), which have the goal to take off the oscillating
period of this compared with ground, during an earthquake and decrease the
transmitted energy using frictional dissipation. The results of the study
presented of this paper relieve the possibility of using sliding surfaces
generated by polynomial functions by using an intermediate neoprene element
between the sliding surface and the slider.

22-19 SISTEME INOVATIVE DE IZOLARE SEISMICĂ BAZATE PE DISIPAREA ENERGIEI PRIN FRECARE. ANALIZA STATICĂ

Friction pendulums are used to reduce forces transmitted from the
ground to buildings, in order to diminish or avoid earthquakes loss, by
permitting relative displacements between the isolated structure and earth
during seismic actions. The result consists in reduced accelerations and
consequently reduced inertia forces. In this paper we present a new approach
regarding implementation of a friction pendulum having the sliding surface
profile based on a polynomial function of superior order. The new device
implies the use of an elastic element between the slider and the sliding surface.
Static and dynamic analyses performed using the finite element method
confirmed that the use of an elastomeric element is suitable for this purpose.

with increased number of adjustable parameters, for which good simulation
results were obtained.

In this paper we present an innovative system for seismic isolation
based on frictional energy dissipation. While classical friction pendulum
bearings contain one or more cylindrical or spherical sliding surfaces, they
provide just pairs of two parameters controlling the dynamic behavior of a
structure isolated by this kind of device. In this paper we are implementing
friction pendulums having the sliding surface profile based on a polynomial
function of superior order. This seismic isolation system permit a greater
flexibility in controlling the oscillations of the upper structure, in terms of
displacements or dissipated energy, by using three parameters to control the
force-displacement relation.
