Travel by Metro provides commercial speed of 30-45 km/h, with traffic
up to 90 s duration between two trains, a maximum transport 10,000
passengers per train (of 6 cars) and distances between stations of 600-1000 m.
In recent years, have built automated metro systems without conductor/driver,
which are directly controlled from a control centred. It is estimated that one
kilometre of underground line costs 30 million Euros.
It presents some generalities on the metro, public transport it, looking
at the short subways in London, Budapest, Paris, Madrid and Bucharest.

AUTOMATIC SELECTION OF TEXTILE STUFF
IN TERMS OF COLOUR HUE
This paper treats an interfacing system between a PC IBM compatible
machine and an acquisition structure of tint colour information by textile stuff
samples. The described system presents one hardware part and other software
part. The hardware part consists in two interconnected subsystems. The first
subsystem has one electronic structure that takes up the colour tint textile stuff
sample’s signature. The other subsystem consists by one interface between the
PC and the above subsystem. The software part consists by two subsystems.
The first is a data achievement protocol and the second subsystem is a
graphical interface. All the software routines have written in C++ programming
language.

OF THE HOB FOR MACHINING THE FACE GEAR
FROM THE WORM-FACE GEAR DRIVE
The paper presents a study related to mathematical modeling and
CAD simulation of the hobs used for machining the face gears teeth, from the
worm-face gear drives in which the worm is of ZK1-type. The study is limited to
determination of mathematical relations necessary for hobs design, as well as
for their CAD modeling. Some practical example results of 3D CAD models,
built on developed theory for hobs used in machining particular face gears, are
also presented.

design structured logic functions/adjustment and control strategy. Idea as a
whole system approach, involving the design and optimization rather than a
sequence of incremental steps. Optimizing functional fluidic systems involves
building a mathematical model, analysis of physical phenomena associated.
Other approaches in research aimed mechatronic systems design techniques
that parts of the system are real; some are virtual so that the test pro-cedures
and data validation can be performed as in reality. The user is thus familiar with
the operation and structure of an industrial system, programming language
functioning using technology and specific real industrial environment, without
risk of damaging the plant (to make the process as simulated in the laboratory).
