INFLUENCED OF THE MAGNETIC FIELD
ON BURNING IN A CENTRAL HEATING
The paper presents analysis of the magnetic field influences with
Vosges super catalyst on the parameters of the process of burning in a boiler.
Following the attempts made to result in a significant drop in gas consumption
and reduced emissions. We have also measured the time needed to heat two
liters of water, noticing a reduction of it.

THE DETERMINATION OF THE PHYSICO-CHEMICAL
BIOFUEL WHITH FUEL BASED OF USED COOKING OIL IN
COMBINED WITH DIESEL
Mentioning that low caloric power of biofuel based of used cooking oil
(36867 kJ/kg) is inferior to diesel (41800 kJ/kg) it was trying partial replace of
diesel with monoester from used cooking oil regarding the mainteining of the
engine power concomitent with the drop of the polluants from exaust gases.
Folowing this, after the fabrication and setting up of the optim recepy of biofuel
from used cooking oil, it was done the mix of biofuel and diesel, in different
proportion, wich are label related to basic material, beeing experimental
determinated the densieties and cinemati viscocieties of new fuels, compared
with diesel, at temperatures between 580 0C. It was detected a growing of
density and viscosity of fuel based of used cooking oil compared with diesel
around 3,148 % and 26,44 % on the whole scale of trying temperatures.

SOLUTION FOR ON –BOARD AUTO VEHICLE ENERGY
The paper summarizes the main solution for improving the motor
vehicle fuel economy. The analyzed solutions are: transmission efficiency
improvement, idle shut off, driving resistance improvement, load point
deflection, regenerative braking, and exhaust gases energy recovery.
The potential of each solution is then use to demonstrate the
advantages of hybrid propulsion systems. It is shown that, for a mild-hybrid
passenger car, it is possible to achieve a 16 to 28 % cumulate fuel economy
improvement.

In recent years, in all countries, urban transport pose specific
problems and produce significant damage to political, social and environmental
(pollution, noise, and stress). The best solution to problems of environmental
pollution is electric vehicle (EV) as an alternative means of transport.
Electric car is a vehicle that uses an electric motor as a drive with
electric power from a source, usually battery. The major advantages of electric
car are fuel economy, pollution near zero outside production, efficiency/high
yield, instant acceleration, very low noise, easy maintenance by eliminating
much of the classic motor car. High price and low autonomy are barriers to the
success of such vehicles. Over nearly two decades, 86 % of cars in circulation
will be powered by conventional motors. However, they have several
disadvantages. Major disadvantages are high cost, relatively high load time,
lifetime low of about 3-5 years, reduced autonomy max. 300 km. Batteries are
reducing capacity by 50 % or more at temperatures below 10 0C and above 40
0C and tend to overheat and even explode under certain conditions. In 1996,
the first serial production electric car, EV1 (Electric Vehicle 1), were
manufactured in the U.S. by General Motors, and circulated on California
roads. Although General Motors has built and launched on the market between
the years 1996-1999 the first electric car, EV1 was withdrawn and recycled to
pressure oil companies and the argument of lack of market demand.
Lithium batteries have been proposed for the first time in 70 years, but
their sale started only after 20 years. Lithium is a metallic substance such as
highly volatile and corrosive, which reacts violently with many other substances.
Corrosive properties of lithium are strongly enhanced with increasing
temperature, leading to accelerated oxidation coatings and the membranes that
separate the battery components, leading eventually to irreversible damage.
Much lighter than regular batteries, rechargeable, usually made of nickel
components with better performance and longer life Li-ion cells were deejay Li-

MINIATURE COAXIAL HELICOPTER
In this paper two movements, strongly coupled, of a coaxial helicopter
are controlled using a multivariable control algorithm. On such a helicopter four
movements (yaw, altitude, pitch and roll) can be controlled with four actuators.
Using models liberalized around the hover position, for yaw and altitude, a
multivariable control algorithm was developed. Further, some simulation results
are presented and finally some advantages of using such a technique are
emphasized.

Just in time systems and the benefits derived from these process conversions.

This paper presents a new drive system for the award winning
ROBOSCAN, which is the only mobile Gamma scanner in the world. To ensure
the low speed high torque needed for the scanning process, a new drive
system needs to be implemented. The proposed solution is a new drive system
with a hydrostatic transmission for the work movement and a mechanical
transmission for driving between locations. Being a new system, testing was
done to define its characteristics. By doing this the testing methods were
perfected.

l’intervention d’un facteur chimique des substances pompées, amène, assez
souvent, au blocage, par apparition de l’usure d’adhérence. Au début, on a fait
une classification générale des usures et on a donné les principaux paramètres
qui caractérisent l’usure d’adhérence. On a donné après, la loi de base de
l’usure d’adhérence et quelques considérations sue le coefficient de l’usure
d’adhérence. Avec des essais complexes, dans des conditions
d’environnement et de sollicitations diverses, on peut établir des algorithmes de
calcul du niveau de l’usure d’adhérence, le plus proche de la réalité.

POUR LA PROTECTION DES MACHINES DE PLANTES
Le travail présente les principaux types d’usures qui apparaissent aux
pompes des machines pour la protection des plantes. Pendant le
fonctionnement d’un system technique, appraising des usuriers, dues aux
frictions et aux agressions physique et/ou chimiques, usures qui modifient
géométriquement, dimensionnelle et structurale, les qualités fonctionnelles du
système. Les usures bessent les performances fonctionnelles du mécanisme.
La connaissance de la spécificité et des limites de ces usures, dans des
conditions complexes où elles se passent, a un caractère empirique. Celle-ci
implique une observation attentive de toutes les zones et de tous les types
d’usures, qui, dans le cas des pompes des machines pour les travaux pour la
protection des plantes, sont influencées différemment par l’agressivité chimique
des substances pompées.
L’optimisation de la relation prix de revient sécurité en fonctionnement
(fiabilité et maintenance) amène a un degré élevé d’utilisation des pompes,
avec le maintien constant des paramètres de fonctionnement, qui peut se faire
seulement par des essais complexes, dans des différentes conditions de
matériau et d’environnement.

Lucien Blaga est revenu dans la conscience du public roumain et
notamment des écrivains après la parution, en 1962 de deux livres de poésies,
Poemele luminii et Mirabila sămânţă (éditions posthumes). L’expressivité de
son lyrisme, la sensibilité des images des rêveries cosmiques, le paroxysme de
ses états d’âme ont livré aux poètes des générations 60 et 70 les clefs d’un
renouvellement esthétique nécessaire après la période prolétcultiste.
Certainement, au cours des apparitions des livres du poète de Lancrăm, le
public de culture, y compris les enseignants dans leur démarche à la classe,
ont compris l‘envergure d’une synthèse littéraire et philosophique dans l’esprit

This paper presents a „study electrification” made by Prof Dr Doc
Dorin Pavel since 1925, in which it addresses the problem of ensuring
electricity for railways in Romania if their electrification.
Technical problems are analyzed both electrical traction suggesting
solutions and investment cost.
News of those published 88 years ago, is found in the development of
electrified railway lines in Romania, the database solutions for electric drive
(alternating current at 50 Hz and High Tension) and the locations of plants.

ECONOMICHAL EVOLUTION OF ROMANIA
Before and after EU accession, statistics show a modest position of
Romania in the EU and its lack of improvement over time, the absolute value of
GDP/capita (taken in $), the relative value of GDP/inhabitant (considered as %
of EU average) and, worse, a worsening world order number NOM, i.e. the
number of orders in the list of world states considered in descending order of
GDP/capita. The situation can be explained by statistical data on the number of
international patents for invention obtained by each country. Currently have
GDP/high only countries that have large natural resources and capitalizes
intensive, especially those related to the number of inhabitants, have many
international patents. Romania last in EU is the U.S. patents and European
patents. Details given this situation, the paper indicates only way to improve the
situation.

European standardisation system (ESS) comprises the three
European standards organisations (ESOS) recognized-CEN, CENELEC and
ETSI-their members and other interested parties involved.
The objective of the ESS is to implement standardization across
Europe in order to facilitate the exchange of goods, information and services
through the removal of barriers caused by provisions of a technical nature, and
thus to ensure a unified European market to promote competitiveness and to
stimulate innovation. At the international level, the ESS will facilitate
international trade and Europe’s global market position through active
participation in international standardization.

ARCHIMÈDE – UN ILLUSTRE SAVANT GREC
DE L’ANTIQUITÉ
Le présent article expose d’une manière synthétique – à partir de la
bibliographie consultée – le peu qu’on connaît sur la vie de l’illustre savant,
ainsi qu’une partie de l’anecdotique contemporaine concernant ses réalisations.
On énumère les traités théoriques élaborés (ceux qui ont été conservés jusqu’à
nos jours), ainsi que leur influence sur les évolutions ultérieures des
Mathématiques, de l’Hydrostatique et de l’Astronomie.
C’est Archimède (inventeur des leviers, du pignon, de la vis sans fin)
qui a établi les relations de calcul de la surface et du volume de la sphère et du
cylindre, qui a déterminé les centres de gravité de divers corps, qui a énoncé le
fameux principe de l’hydrostatique (qui porte son nom) etc. C’est donc lui qui a
jeté des bases solides pour disciplines susmentionnées. Le grand
mathématicien, astronome et physicien allemand Carl Friedrich Gauss (1777-
1855) pensait qu`Archimède et Isaac Newton (1642-1727) furent les plus
grands scientifiques de toute l`histoire de la civilisation humaine !

Stephen Nădășan (born 19 august 1901 in Timisoara on September
23, 1967 in Timisoara) was a Romanian engineer. Is the founder of the
Romanian School of testing materials. Contributed to the improvement of cast
irons and brought important innovations in welding of metals. Titular member of
the Romanian Academy. It shows aspects of his life and his work,
supplemented with chronological data.

Among the prominent figures who have fixed the Romanian forms

emerges as a teacher with a particularly deep thinker simultaneously
pedagogical entered deep into the core of things and deciphering the crystal
clear with their essence, engineer C.CTeodorescu. It shows life, school and
university training, outstanding contributions of Professor C.C. Teodorescu into
the realm of science and technology.
He was a scientist of great humanity, had a modest and discreet life,
concerned about all the time not to get in the way and not wards off anyone.
This man’s work is alive, living in and through his activity, not only to the
Department but also to many institutions which offered them collaboration.
