WASHING AGENT INFLUENCE ON ALUMINUM ALLOYS
This paper is a study layer of aluminium and aluminium alloys, subjected to the action of external self-detergents, and their behaviour in processes of wear or fatigue. The data obtained are useful in the analysis of structural changes that appear and develop during the destructive processes mentioned. The study of structural changes can be made by various non-destructive techniques, which occupied an important place of composition applied to the alloys washing agents, working environment and temperature.

ASPECTS OF URBAN AIR QUALITY Air pollution can cause and aggravate respiratory diseases, cardiovascular damage forests, increase soil acidity and water can affect crops and cause corrosion of buildings. We can see that many air pollutants that contribute to climate change and climate change in turn will affect air quality in the future. The concentration of aerosol particles in the atmosphere is an important parameter for assessing air quality. For example, variations in the concentration of the aerosol particles will differ greatly in urban areas to rural areas or industrial areas to their neigh boring areas. 28-78 CARACTERIZAREA DIN PUNCT DE VEDERE AL PROTECȚIEI MEDIULUI A NĂMOLURILOR ROŞII REZULTATE DIN PRODUCEREA ALUMINEI

RED IMPACT FROM SLUDGE PROCESS FOR THE
PRODUCTION OF ENVIRONMENTAL ALUMINEI Red sludge is a waste resulting from the Bayer process of refining bauxite to produce alumina. Red sludge is a waste strongly alkaline due to NaOH. Its composition depends on a number of factors but essentially the composition of the bauxite. Everything depends on the composition and quantity of bauxite red mud result: between 0.33 to 2 tons of red mud per tons of alumina produced or 0.4-2 tons of red mud per tons of alumina produced. The main environmental issue out of the sheer amount of red sludge produced is alkalinity. In paper presents analysis of the composition of this material particularly as regards the possibility of environmental pollution. Another factor that is useful to know in terms of environmental impact, especially in case of accidents knows the amount of acid required to bring the pH to a particular environmental acceptable values.

STUDIES REGARDING TREATMENT OF WASTEWATER WITH VEGETAL OILS CONTENT BY ELECTROFLOTOCOAGULATION PROCESS
Wastewater treatment means the combination of measures and processes by which the impurities of chemical or microbiological nature contained in wastewater are reduced under certain limits, so these waters will not cause any harm to the receiver which is discharged and not to endanger its water use. One of the advanced methods for this removal is electroflotocoagulation. In this paper we studied the optimal condition and efficiency of electrocoagulation process in the removal of vegetal oils from waste waters. The studied conditions are intensity of electrolysis current, electrolysis time and dynamic water flow rate through electrolysis cell.

This paper aims to present a simple way to evaluate the biogas production from the sludge resulting from the wastewater treatment process. Attention is given to three topics: the wastewater sludge fermentation and the evaluation of the biogas production with BioWatts software, but also to providing a general view of the thermal plant, the flow of the technological process and the equipment’s required to store and use the biogas as the main fuel for the thermal plant.

28-73 ÎNGLOBAREA DEŞEURILOR PE BAZĂ DE PLUMB ÎN STICLE TELURATE

THE INTEGRATED OF THE LEAD WASTES
IN TELLURATE GLASSES
In this work, we report structural investigations on vanadate-tellurate and borate-tellurate glasses system doped with lead oxide obtained by melt quenching method. The purpose of this paper was i) to integrate of the lead ions in these glasses and ii) to investigate of the structural properties of the obtained glasses in order to possible applications in the wastes recycling.
FTIR spectra analysis suggests that the lead oxide generates the rapidly deformation of the Te-O-Te linkages from [TeO4] structural units. Further the excess of oxygen ions can be accommodated in the host matrix by conversion of some [VO4] structural units into pyro vanadate units. Then, the increase of the lead oxide in the borate-tellurate matrix will produce the intercalation of [PbOn] entities where n=3 and 4.
Based on FTIR results, we found that the increase of the lead oxide in the borate-tellurate network suggests a gradual inclusion of these ions in the host matrix by the intercalation of [PbOn] structural units.

Advanced recycling of plastics contributes significantly to enhance environmental management implementation that allows environment and economy to coexist harmoniously in a sustainable development paradigm of the beginning of this century. Today plastics are generated from a variety of sources and large amounts of material are deposited, resulting in difficulties in storage. Industrial processing or storage of plastics is extremely difficult and has become a social problem in recent years. Recycling of plastics in industrial furnaces can be a solution for the reduction of environmental impact and efficient use of natural resources limited and the process of exhaustion. Implementation of a new technology for recycling of plastics can be problematic due to significant differences properties related to the different weight of the components of the eco-efficiency analysis system that must be customized.

ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENT – EUROPEAN STANDARDIZATION PERSPECTIVE Energy and environmental policies are interlinked with energy production and environmental impact. Standardization plays an important role in efforts to protect the environment and promote sustainable development. This is because standards directly relate to the design of products and processes. The standards define acceptable levels of energy use, waste management procedures and other measures to protect the environment. The developments of standards, technical committees (TC) are needed to ensure that the impact of products, services and processes on the environment are taken into account at every stage of its lifecycle. The key objective of the „CEN approach to the environmental aspects of products and services to standards” is to implement a framework to promote and ensure better inclusion of these issues in European standards. EU environmental legislation and agenda of the European Commission (EC) on resource efficiency are directed to ensure that EU policies take full advantage of all the potential to reduce the risks and impact of energy consumption. This will bring direct and indirect improvements on health and the environment, reduce imports and will enable the EU to better compete internationally in a world of limited resources.

The complexity of a piece configuration is determined by its functional role, mechanical loading system, operating conditions. Surfaces defining a piece in space can be expressed by means of parametric equations. A surface profile can be completely defined if that surface intersects two planes perpendicular to each other. Surface intersection curves resulting data with those plans have as expressions, analytical equations. Machining end mills with spherical head is a very complex process, due primarily blade arrangement on a spherical surface. The solution for successful machining of complex curved surfaces is to use mills with spherical head.

Alloy and not alloy steels, with specified elevated temperature shall be prepared in accordance with SR EN 10216 – 2 + A2 – 2008 Standard. Structural examinations and mechanical tests performed on weld heat-resistant steels have shown the possibility of establishing, with some degree of certainty, the correlations between the type of microstructure and mechanical characteristics.
Solid solution hardening due to the presence of dislocations, the precipitating and foreign atoms from the network, represent a very important element to be taken into account in determining the structural and mechanical properties of heat-resistant alloy and not alloy steels wieldable.

This paper aims to achieve a bibliographical study and practical research on technologies for coating metal layers, especially nickel-based alloys and their use in automotive and foams active influence on them in the wash. It was found that with the wear caused by aging and external factors, including repeated washing, auto parts nickel, shows a frosting, that glossy look is diminished, so is looking for a foam manufacturing assets that do not affect the optimal structure of material basis of their physical properties.

The sintered materials of metal powders have low mechanical properties, which is why a reinforced process can improve these properties. The reinforcement is made of steel webs with square cell and particle size distribution of the powder deposited on these elements must be within the network parameter data. The materials obtained by sintering at 800 0C for 30 minutes in a hydrogen atmosphere have a uniform structure with a good pores distribution. The metal network influences the development of breakage and increases the tensile strength.

ELECTRICAL CONTACTS FOR STRONG CURRENTS
BY POWDER METALLURGY
There were experienced three pilot versions for electrical contacts for strong currents, W – Cu, by powder metallurgy. Based on these it was selected the following variant: Cu matrix composite reinforced with W, starting from the powder: W – 50.18 mass %, Ni – 1.02 %, Cu 48.06 %, and 0.74 % zinc stearate. 8 GPa pressed, sintered at 875 °C for 15 minutes, then infiltrated with Cu to fill the pores, resulting in a product that has a density of 11.738 kg/m3, similar to the theoretical density. It is noted that often remain additions of no infiltrated Cu and sometimes may appear craters in place of infiltration. It is preferred the version with as little as possible infiltrated Cu.

RESEARCH REGARDING OBTAINING ZINC FERRITE IN NANOCRYSTALLINE/NANOMETRIC STATUS USING THE CERAMIC METHOD AND MECHANICAL MILLING (II)
This paper presents a research regarding the procedure of obtaining the zinc ferrite in nanocristalline/nanometer state throw the standard procedure as ceramic method and then applying the mechanical milling. As a start material we use zinc ferrite. We apply the ceramic method and then we mill the material in two types of environment (dry and with solution). For analysing the results we use SEM, DSC and X-ray diffraction. In the end we obtain zinc ferrite in nano crystalline and nonometer status.

RESEARCH REGARDING OBTAINING ZINC FERRITE IN NANOCRYSTALLINE/NANOMETRIC STATUS USING THE CERAMIC METHOD AND MECHANICAL MILLING
This paper present a research regarding the procedure of obtaining the zinc ferrite in nanocristalline/nanometer state throw the standard procedure-ceramic method (first step) and after applying the mechanical milling (second step). As a start material we use zinc ferrite. We apply the ceramic method and then we mill the material in two types of environment (dry and with solution). For analysing the results we use SEM, DSC and X-ray diffraction. In the end we obtain zinc ferrite in nanocrystalline and nonometer status.

CHARACTERIZATION OF BINDER UTILIZED FOR INJECTION MOLDING OF ALUMINIUM MATRIX COMPOSITE WITH GRAPHITE AND SILICON CARBIDE PARTICLES
Powder Injection moulding is considered a novel technique for the manufacture of complex shape samples of ceramic or metal powders. It consists in: powder mixing with a binder, injection into a form; binder removal, and sintering. Injection moulding technology is characterized by high stability and productivity. It makes possible to use uncomplicated and inexpensive equipment. The most important for a binding agent is to be thin to reduce the force of attraction between solid particles of different sizes in order to reduce the viscosity. By adding a small quantity of binder it should provide a good formation of the mixture, ready for separation of the preform to retain the shape and strength of injection moulded sample. The sample is quickly removed and does not contaminate the carbon material contained in waste, or other products.

ANALYSIS OF MATERIALS PROCESSING BY CASTING
IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF NEW PROCEDURES
In present casting have gained a significant position in the engineering arena and is one of the most important domain in manufacturing. Achieving casting usually require a greater complexity to the design and material processing to ensure a structural integrity. These include a complex system in which the processing conditions are crucial and require an appropriate design of material grades used.
The technologies used in the processing of materials by casting are characterized by mostly by a sinuous, complicated, sometimes technological consideration during raw material to finished product. Recent decades have marked the emergence of the current industrial exploitation in the processing of materials, preoccupations more intensely related to the reduction and optimization of material and energy consumption linked with improving the environment. Specific procedures for processing materials were continuously developed and have come to represent today’s modern and efficient alternatives for obtaining materials and products development prospects and future use special.

THE CONVENIECE OF VISUALISING THE CONTROLLED FORMATION OF ICE PLUGS IN HORIZONTAL PIPE-LINE SECTION
The technique of forming controlled ice plugs in pipe-line installations in order to isolate a section from the rest of the circuit is used for carrying out circuit maintenance or repair activities without shutting down the entire installation. The geometrical characteristics of the ice plug can vary from one test to another, depending on the conditions under which the test is being carried out and the events that occur during this time. Studying this process requires visualizing the forming of ice layers inside the pipe.
This paper describes the convenience of visualizing the formation of ice plugs by studying the effect of the events and interventions that occur during controlled tests that have been carried out in horizontal pipe-line sections.

Some of the equipment will be taken in mass production by SC Electromecanica Ploiesti, authorized for the production of the assemblies to the national antihelix system.

PROTECTION CENTRIFUGAL MECHANISM OF
THE WIND TURBINE ROTOR AT OVERSPEED
The protection centrifugal mechanism at overspeed described in this paper is designed and made for a wind aggregate of 5 kW. This mechanism is a complex system, designed as an automatic mechanical system to react without electronic control. Only the returning to the initial state is controlled by the electronic system of automatic control of the wind turbine. The triggering of the centrifugal mechanism must be followed by the locking in its extreme position of the rotation of the blades. After locking, the speed is reduced to 20 … 30 rpm then, if weather conditions allow, it gives the command to unlock the centrifugal mechanism so the mechanism returns back to the normal working position.

STAND FOR TESTING THE OVERSPEED PROTECTION CENTRIFUGAL MECHANISM OF A 5 KW
WIND TURBINE ROTOR
The testing stand is designed to check the rotor protection complex system of a wind aggregate of 5 kW at over speed. The planned complex system is designed as an automatic mechanical system to react without electronic control. Only the returning to the initial state is controlled by the electronic system of automatic control of the wind turbine. The stand checks triggering centrifugal mechanism when is achieved the maximum rotation speed initially prescribed. The triggering of the centrifugal mechanism must be followed by the locking in its extreme position of the rotation of the blades. After locking, the centrifugal speed is reduced to 20 … 30 rpm then, if weather conditions allow, it gives the command to unlock the centrifugal mechanism. An electric motor drives a cam which raises the locking pin so that the centrifugal mechanism returns back to the normal working position. The adjusting of the centrifugal counterweight of the centrifugal mechanism and the impeccable operation of the whole automatic system should be checked on the testing stand. The purposes of the tests are to adjust, check and improve the endurance of the mechanism.

ELEMENTS ON THE CONCEPT AND DESIGN OF A TRACKED MINI ROBOT PROTOTYPE – “ROBO GRIPES” –
WITH ELECTRIC ACTIONING OBTAINED FROM SOLAR ENERGY CAPTURE
The authors of this paper wish to highlight elements regarding the organology and the integration of the hardware component, functioning and simulation, in the real workspace, of a tracked mini robot prototype with electric auctioning obtained from solar energy capture with a load of explosives attached. The technological product developed and designed after completion of the experimental prototype is subject to a national patent (no. RO a 00684, issued by O.S.I.M.) granted to our institution, the result of research activities undertaken under a contract won by national competition, a grant for young research teams, PN-RU-TE-2010 type. The experimental prototype of a tracked mini robot, called Robo Gripes, part of the unmanned ground vehicles category having the ability to act autonomously and enabling its endowment with means of observation, listening, tapping, relaying, jamming and demining/reclamation of UXOs and IEDs. This paper reveals, in detail, the composing parts of the hardware component, as well as the way they are assembled in the mechanical structure of the mini robot under study.
